Jada
"I'm sorry to have to tell you this," the doctor took a deep breath before continuing. "But, both of your children died."

I turned and looked at August, everyone stood there in silence. I punched the wall and lunged at the doctor. Tears flooded my eyes as August held me in his arms. We slid down the wall, onto the floor and cried hysterically.

The doctor's words still echoed in my head. I stared down at our legs, August remained silent. I hadn't even noticed everyone else had left the hospital.

August helped me up and I walked over and touched the glass. I cocked my hand back and punched the glass. August dragged me out to the car. He stopped at a gas station and sent me inside to get some snacks.

I went inside and went to get the chips that August wanted. I grabbed the chips and turned to go get the cookies. The lights flickered and I rushed to get out of the store.

Something pulled my leg causing me to fall. I turned and saw James, the kids, and my father. They started clawing at me trying to pull me back into the aisle.

"Stay with us mommy! Don't you love us?"

"Jada wake up!" August yelled shaking me causing me to jump and swing.

"What? What's wrong?" I asked removing my hand from August's grip.

"You were having a nightmare."

I let out  a great sigh of relief and laid my head on his chest. The doctor came back into the room. She had a clipboard in her hand and a serious look on her face.

"Like I was saying, your children have made a full recovery. They just need to stay a couple more days for observation then you can take them home."

August
Jada jumped up and hugged the doctor.  I smiled as she came back and hugged me. I rubbed her back and we followed the doctors into the room with the kids. Jada walked over to them and kissed their foreheads.

"I've never been so happy in my life." She said holding my hand as we walked to the car.

"Come on let's get the house ready for their return." I replied starting the car and pulling off.

"I'm sorry that I lied to you about my past."

"We're still going to get the niggas that did this to us."

"Thank you."

She wiped a tear and kissed my cheek. I pulled up to the house and got out the car.

"Thank you." I whispered helping her change into her pajamas.

"For what?"

"For finding it in your heart to forgive me."

Jada looked at me and nodded her head before she spoke.

"You're welcome."

"Now we can start working on making this baby." I leaned in to kiss her.

"Whoa let me stop you right there."

She held up her hand and instead of kissing her soft lips. I was pushed back and she started laughing.

"What happened to all this talk about having another kid."

"This was before I knew about the condition of our children."

I let out a heavy sigh and laid back on the bed. She laid beside me and stared up at the ceiling. I closed my eyes and focused on her breathing.

When I was sure she was asleep, I slipped out the bed and drove to the warehouse.

Shamar
I could hear distorted voices, I felt rapid slaps on my cheeks. I struggled to open my eyes but, when I did I saw a blurry face in front of mine.

"This will be over soon if you just tell me what I want to know."

I tried to move my arms but, they were cuffed to a chair. I tried moving my feet but they were chained down too.

"I'm talking to you." The voice said, followed by a hard blow to the side of my face.

"What do you want from me." I said calmly.

"I want you to tell me what I need to know."

"Does it look like I'm a fucking mind reader?"

My question was answered with a angry grunt and a back hand. I let head tilt back as my eyelids shut.

This is going to be a long night.
