Chapter 25: Truly Forgiven

The next morning, Jada woke up and went into the bathroom to handle my daily hygeine. Once she was finished, she went downstairs into the living room to wake up Chris and August. To her surprise August and Chris were already awake and some girl was sitting in August's lap.

"Chris, I'm about to make breakfast. Do you want something?" She asked refusing to acknowledge August and his guest.

"I'm kinda in the mood for pancakes." Chris replied getting up to stretch his legs.

"Can you make me some waffles?" August asked getting up as well.

Jada rolled her eyes as she walked into the kitchen. It was clear that seeing August with another female bothered Jada more than she cared to admit. After she finished cooking, she called Chris into the kitchen then went upstairs to get LAni and the kids.

"Where's the waffles?" August asked coming into the kitchen and kissing Justice and Aj on the forehead.

"I didn't make any sweetheart." Jada said smiling.

"Sweetheart?" Lani mouthed at Chris.

"They fucking?" Chris mouthed back.

Lani shook her head then began wondering if they actually were.Angel walked into the kitchen and began carressing Justice's curly afro.

"I love your hair." Angel said smiling. "It's really pretty."

"Thank you." Justice said before turning to eat the food Jada sat down in front of her.

If looks could kill both August and Angel would be dead. Jada took a deep breath before turning off the stove and sitting down at the kitchen table to eat.

"Did you at least make enough for Angel and I?" August asked searching for leftovers.

"Y'all can go get your own food." Jada replied sweetly as she put butter and syrup on her pancakes.

August glared at the back of Jada's head as she happily ate her food.

"Chris, you're just going to let her treat me like this?" August looked to Chris for support.

"Jada may be petty but she sure can cook." Chris said putting syrup on his pancakes. "Sorry but, you're on your own."

August rolled his eyes as he searched the cabinets for something to eat. Chris stood up and went into the living room with Lani and the kids.

"Why are you acting like that?" August asked.

"Because you invited this roach into my house." Jada replied as she washed her plate.

"You're the one that told me to get out."

Jada took a deep breath then walked out the kitchen. August grabbed her wrist and pulled her back towards him.

"If you have something to say just say it."

"Don't touch me."

Jada snatched her arm away from August and walked out of the kitchen. She went into the living room and got Aj and Justice. She brought them upstairs and helped them pick out their outfits. She then gave them each a bath and helped them get dressed.

"Alright you guys wait here until I'm done." Jada said sitting Aj and Justice on the edge of the bed. "Then we can leave."

Jada turned on the tv then went into the bathroom with her outfit for the day then got in the shower.

After she finished washing her body, she turned off the shower then got out. She dried off her body then put on her lotion. She got dressed then examined herself in the mirror.
