Omniscient
Jada woke up the next day feeling refreshed. She got out of her bed and went into the bathroom to get ready for the day.

After she showered and got dressed, she went downstairs and made breakfast. She put the food onto her plate then sat down to eat. She finished eating then, washed her dishes.

Realizing that August wasn't home, she put on her jacket and went out to her car. She unlocked the doors and got inside.

She turned on the radio and pulled off as Fighter by Christina Aguilera played.

Jada sang along to the song as she drove towards the hospital.

"You can take them home next week." The doctor said looking at her clipboard.

"Okay, thank you so much." Jada replied sitting in the chair by the window.

Meanwhile...
August cocked his hand back with his fist balled up. He punched the wall near a picture of Jada smiling.

"You don't know what you do to me."

He stared at the picture before going upstairs and turning on the shower. He sat underneath the shower head fully clothed and let the water run down his face.

"Why doesn't she love me!" He thought to himself.

"BECAUSE YOU'RE WORTHLESS!" One of the voices in his head said.

"I thought I killed you!"

"Nah, we just went on vacation!"

"Leave me alone! You'll make her hate me!"

"She already hates you!"

"No she doesn't! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!"

August was unaware that he was talking out loud.

Jada unlocked the door and went upstairs into her bedroom. She heard the water running and she assumed that August was taking a shower.

She kicked off her shoes and hung her jacket up in the closet. She laid down on the bed turning the TV to, That's So Raven.

"Leave me alone before I kill you!" August yelled causing her to jump out of the bed.

She listened carefully as she reached into her nightstand and grabbed her gun. When she didn't hear a second voice she went into the bathroom to see August sitting in the shower rocking back and forth.

"August what's wrong?" She asked turning off the cold water.

He didn't answer her as she put her gun down and grabbed a towel.

She stood him up and removed his soaking wet clothes. She wrapped the towel around him and helped him into the guest room.

She helped him get dressed and laid him in his bed. She put the blanket over him and turned the TV on.

"Can you lay with me?" August asked as Jada walked towards the door.

"Um...I don't think that's a good idea."

"Please? Just until I fall asleep?"

August
Jada looked at the door then back at me. She sighed as she walked out my room.

"I told you she hates you."

Before I could say anything Jada came into the room with a tray. She set it on the dresser and handed me a cup of tea.

I took a sip and cringed at the bitter taste. I grabbed the container with the sugar and put 3 spoonfuls into my tea.

I stirred it up and took a sip, still bitter.

"Why did you put so much sugar in your tea?" Jada asked holding the empty sugar container.

"The tea's still bitter."

"Do you want me to get you some more sugar?"

"Sure."

"I'll be back."

"Thanks I appreciate it."

Jada got off the bed and left the room to get the sugar. A few minutes later, she came back with more sugar.

She laid beside me as I added more to my tea and drank it all. She put the cup on the tray as I laid my head in her lap.

"You really scared me." She whispered as she massaged my scalp.

"I'm sorry, I just had a lot on my mind."

"Like what?" She asked laying back.

"I don't want to talk about it right now."

"I understand."

I laid my head on the pillow and looked at Jada. She stared at the TV and forced a smile onto her face.

"If you don't want to be here with me you can leave, I know you probably have a lot of stuff to do." I said rubbing her arm.

"No, it's alright." She said smiling at me.
