Jada looked over at her sleeping children before pulling out her phone and began planning her big move out of California.

She thought about the places in Florida that she would like to live. She decided on Jacksonville but the more she thought about it the more she wanted to live somewhere else.

Maybe South Carolina or maybe New York. She thought to herself. Maybe I could leave the country all together...no I don't have that kinda money.

She picked up her phone and looked for places in South Carolina. Her search was interrupted by a knock on the door.

She got up and looked through the peephole before opening the door.

Meanwhile...
August put the last of his belongings into the moving truck and closed the door.

He went back inside and kissed his nieces and gave them a hug.

"When are you coming back?" They asked not wanting to let him go.

"I don't know but we can FaceTime as much as you want."

Chris honked the horn and pointed at his watch. August sighed and stood up straight. He gave his nieces a convincing smile before getting in the car with Chris.

"You don't have to leave if don't want to." Chris said before pulling off.

"This is something that I need to do."

"Why?"

"It's better for everyone."

"How? Everyone around is going to be sad looking for you."

"This is something that I need to do?"

"Have you talked to Jada?"

"Nah, I don't think she wants to talk to me."

"Well do you blame her? You did leave without saying goodbye."

"I wonder how she's doing."

"Maybe you should talk to her."

"Like she would want to hear from me. Did you forget we're the ones that made Shamar disappear?"

"I didn't make him disappear. That was all you."

August turned on the radio and stared out the window. Chris drove past the airport since he decided that it would be better if they drove all the way to Atlanta.

Jada
I laid my stomach as I watched Pretty Little Liars. I paused the show and went downstairs to make more popcorn.

I sighed and went upstairs to check on the kids, I slowly opened the door and peeked inside. Justice was sitting on the bed holding Aj in her arms while they watched Dora The Explorer.

I laughed to myself as Justice yelled as she pointed at the TV. I closed the door and went downstairs and put the popcorn in separate bowls.

My phone vibrated on the counter indicating that I had gotten a text from someone. I picked it up and read the screen.

August:Look Jada I know you're probably upset with me but, I'm doing this for you. Call me when you get a chance.

Jada👸🏽: I'm not upset and I'll call you later my show is on.

August: Where are the kids?

Jada👸🏽: In their room watching TV.

August: Can I talk to them?

Jada👸🏽: Hold on.

I changed the TV to Dora and went into the kids room. They got off the bed and turned off the tv. We went into my room and sat on the bed while I dialed August's number.

I handed Justice the phone and patiently waited for them to finish their conversation.

August must've told them to give me the phone because, they gave me the phone then went back into their room.

Hello?

Are you mad at me for leaving?

No, you had to do what you go do.

I'm glad you understand.

Ok, I'm going to get back to my show now.

Wait!

What?

I want you and the kids to come live with me.

I thought it was too dangerous. Isn't that why you left?

Yeah but it was stupid.

I don't have time for your mind games right now.

Before he could say anything I hung up the phone and turned Pretty Little Liars back on.

I continued looking at houses in South Carolina until I found the right one.

I smiled to myself as I closed my laptop and ate my popcorn.

August
Chris glanced over at me as he drove.

"How did it go?" He asked with a smirk.

"She's pissed."

"And you wouldn't be?"

"Nah, not really."

Chris shook his head as he chuckled to himself. He pulled up to a Wendy's and we ordered our food.

Chris got back on the highway while I opened up my bag and started eating my fries.

"I hope she can forgive me."

"I hope so too."
