Chapter 5: Alone

Omniscient
"They're ready to go home." The doctor told Jada.

"Thanks." She said helping Justice put on her shoes.

"Where's their father?" The doctor asked with a confused look on her face.

"He's gone." She said, more to herself than the doctor. 

The doctor nodded then left the room as Jada picked up Aj and their bags and walked out of the room holding Justice's hand.

She helped the kids get in the car, she put on their seatbelt then got in the drivers seat.

When they got home Jada laid the kids on the couch and turned on the TV. She pulled out her laptop and began searching for houses in Florida.

The phone began ringing and she stood up to go answer it.

Hello?

Hey Jada whatcha doing?

Looking for houses in Florida?

Why?

Because, I don't want to stay in LA anymore.

What about the kids?

What are you talking about?

What are they doing?

They're laying on the couch watching TV.

When do you want to move?

Before December.

That sounds good.

Somebody's on the other  line I'll call you back.

Jada clicked over to the other line and immediately regretted her decision.

Hello?

Hey girl when you coming to New York?

I don't know maybe for Christmas and New Years.

Aye turn up.

Is that why you called?

Yeah. Love you bye.

Bye.

Jada hung up the phone and made a quick snack for the kids. She brought it into the living room and they slowly ate it.

Jada felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out to see who it  was but, it  was an unknown number so she didn't answer.

When Aj and justice finished eating she brought their dishes in the sink to wash them. She brought them upstairs and gave Aj his bath first then Justice.

She dressed them both in their pajamas and showed them their new rooms.

"Don't get too attached we'll be moving soon."

"Okay mommy."

Jada laid them in the bed and was about to turn the light off and leave the room until Justice spoke.

"Mommy can we sleep with you tonight?"

"Sure, come on munchkins."

They all laid on the bed and went to sleep.

The next morning Jada slipped out of bed and took a shower and got dressed. She woke the children up and got them bathed and dressed as well.
