"We should be sleeping by now..." bulong ko kay JT.

We were lying on our sides in my bed, facing each other. Magkahawak ang kamay namin. Parehas kaming hindi makapagpigil sa ngiti.

Sa tagal naming hindi nagkita, nakatitig lang kami sa isa't isa. I wouldn't want it to be so obvious that I missed him... but he's making it obvious that he missed me. Mula kanina hindi niya pa binibitiwan ang kamay ko at hindi iniaalis ang mata sa'kin. So, why should I hide? I was holding his hand tightly, too. I was looking at him intensely, too.

But I should be sleeping dahil maaga akong kailangan sa station bukas. He should be sleeping for work at the hospital.

"Hinahanap na siguro ako sa ospital," malaki ang ngiting kuwento niya. "Sa pasyente ako nagpaalam na aalis ako."

"Ano'ng sabi mo?"

"Sabi ko, may emergency," sagot niya at mahinang tumawa. "Doktor na may emergency."

I watched him laughed. Nangiti ako.

Oh boy, I missed him this close. I missed him laughing.

"Ikaw? Bakit ka bumaba sa bus para lang tumawag?" untag niya.

Umisod ako nang kaunti palapit sa kanya. I want to feel him more.

"Ma-traffic e," dahilan ko. "Saka, hindi kita agad matawagan. Excited akong malaman kung nasa'n ka para makita na kita."

Ngumiti siya at hinalikan nang magaan ang likod ng palad ko. "I was excited, too. Bigla akong tinawagan ni Papa para sabihin na pwede na raw kitang makita. And that I should hang up and block their calls again in case they changed their decision. I was messing on my phone's network and settings kaya siguro hindi pumasok agad 'yung tawag mo. Hindi ko alam na sinabihan ka na rin nila. Papunta na sana ako sa'yo."

"How did you find me this time?" usisa ko.

"I didn't know how. I saw you at the park with your phone. Nakailang check nga ako para maniguro. Malay ko, baka puro pagong na ang nakikita ko."

He chuckled.

"We should've meet your dad, first."

"Tulog na 'yun. Bukas na lang. Para masabihan ko rin siya na dadalhin kita."

Ngumiti ako at tinitigan siya. He looked relaxed beside me. At bakit mas guwapo siya ngayon?

"Saka, gusto muna kitang solohin," dagdag niya.

"Kaya ka nag-off ng phone?" tukso ko.

"Kaya ka rin nag-off ng phone? Sosolohin mo rin ako, Hannah pagong?"

Bistado.

Mahina akong tumawa. "Na-miss kasi kita."

"I miss you, too. Para na 'kong nagpepetisyon sa korte sa kaaapela sa Mama at Papa mo. They're very thorough."

"Sorry, it took so long."

"It could have been longer. They could drag it but they didn't. So, don't be sorry."

Binitiwan ni JT ang kamay ko at idinantay ang palad niya sa pisngi ko. Napapikit ako sa init ng kamay niya.

"Bakit mas maganda ka ngayon? Pahihirapan mo uli akong mag-isip sa'yo araw-araw kapag hindi kita kasama?"

He gently stroked my cheek with his thumb.

"Nope. If you miss me or I miss you, we will see each other from now on," sabi ko sa kanya. "You're going to have an overly attached girlfriend. So, call your friends for help."

Mahina lang siyang tumawa. "Overly attached pagong? Gusto ko nga 'yun."

We looked at each other's eyes and sighed.

"Inaantok ka na?" usisa niya. "Tulog na, pagong."

"Not really." Lumunok ako. "I wanted to look at you more."

And something else, actually.

"Hm."

Umisod siya palapit.

"Close your eyes. I'll be here when you wake up," sabi niya nang idikit niya ang noo niya sa noo ko.

Ipinikit ko ang mga mata ko at marahang nagbuga ng hangin.

"Kiss me, firs—"

Magaang lumapat ang labi niya sa labi ko. I couldn't help but pressed myself more to him. There was something in his warmth that I wanted in my skin. There was this need that I didn't know how to sate.

Our lips locked enough to tease all the nerves in my body. I was breathing heavily when he let go.

I licked my lips.

Dinutdot niya ang tungki ng ilong ko.

"Don't lick your lips, Hannah. Sleep," sabi niya bago lumunok.

I suppressed a smile. Somehow, I knew, he was lying. His eyes doesn't say stop. His lips, lalo na.

But maybe, I shouldn't tease him.

Dumikit ako sa katawan niya, yumakap. Ibinigay niya ang braso niya para iunan ko, bago ako yakapin din. He gently stroked my hair as I closed my eyes.

I intended to sleep but I couldn't. The small fire he started with a kiss kept on taunting me. Lalamunan niya ang una kong nakita nang magmulat uli ako. His adam's apple kept on moving.

"Jeric..." mahinang tawag ko sa kanya.

"Hm?"

I kissed his neck.

"Hannah..." he warned.

Yeah. This is bad. Maybe I shouldn't tease him like this.

Kaya sandali akong humiwalay sa katawan niya, sinapo siya sa pisngi, at hinalikan nang mariin. I made sure he knew that I wasn't just teasing.

We sweated out the fire an hour later and fell asleep. #0945u / 11092016
