Katy’s POV

"Katy!" Cameron, Patrick, Robert, Timothy, and Tommy yelled as I walked in to the kitchen, which connected all the intersecting hallways that lead to all our different bedrooms.

"What up bros?"

"What are you up to today?" Cameron asks. All my other identical brothers nodded their blonde heads in unison. Their similar green eyes sparkling in interest.

"Well I planned to go for a quick run, then meet up with dad at the border.  Something about a visitor." I said shrugging with casual interest.

"Can we come?" Patrick started. "On the run, we mean." Timmy finished.

"Ehhhh," stuttering, I uneasily continued. "Sure I don't see any problem with it." Just then, a mischievous expression flashed before me.  "On second thought-" I began.

"Come on let's go guys!" Cam yelled.  "Hurry up, Katy, or we're going to leave you." Tommy said as he ran passed me and shifted into a chocolate brown wolf; like all my other brothers.

"They’re going to be the death of me." I muttered as I shifted into a silver gray wolf, like my mother, and followed after them.

When I finally caught up with them, or rather there scent, they were nowhere to be seen.  Scouring the surrounding area, they were nowhere to be found.  All of the sudden, something was on my back and it pounded me to the floor.  Whipping around, I attacked blindly.  Successfully, I wrapped my teeth around a leg and gave it a violent jerk to dislocate it.  I finally moved back and faced the wolf.  Poor Robert, even as an enforcer of my pack, he couldn’t even hold a candle to me. The injury would hurt but he would heal fast because of his wolf DNA.

What are you doing? I asked him through the pack bound. He let his tongue roll out and went to go sit next to a tree.

Stupid brother. I thought. He whined back at me. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw Patrick, Timmy, and Tommy fly toward me from the tree tops.  Naturally, they all were also enforcers as well.

Sneaky bastards. I growled.  All four of them yipped in glee.  One by one, I carefully took them down with the grace of the Alpha within.  Nothing more than a broken bone or a fracture, though.

Twisting around and around I noticed that Cameron was missing, being my beta, he had more of a chance of giving me a good fight.  My brothers closed their eyes and lowered their heads and refused to help me in any way.

Here Camy, Camy, Camy. I cooed.  They all began to snicker at me, even if they wouldn’t help me, they enjoyed my torment and through the bond I felt a faint growl rumbling from the ground beneath me.  No sooner than I felt it, I leapt into the air as Cameron appeared from under the forest floor.

What's the matter Camy? Flustered?  I winked at him as he shook of all of the dirt. Growling he lowered his head, barred his teeth and raised his haunches.

Bring it! Beta, o' mine.  I challenged.

Gladly. He replied.  As we clashed in midair, every bone in my body came alive as the adrenaline kicked in.  Paws with claws were flying, and jaws snapped viciously.  We never drawled blood but bruises were a nasty SOB to deal with later, and for some reason, they never seemed to want to heal right away. No sooner then it had started, it had ended.  All this was child’s play to me.  As I removed my paw from his stomach and my mouth from his neck he picked himself right back up.

Thanks for the sparing.  I told them.

Damn you got moves Kate. Timmy and Tom complimented.
