  Castiel's p.o.v

I stopped for a moment, listening for the shower, and continuing when I heard it. I looked around, furrowing my eyebrows in contemplation as I saw their horrified fans at my gruesome story. But I realized that I had to keep going now that I had started. None of them would let me stop even if I tried.

"It was complete madness. Our family dying left and right. It had been hours and we were still going. We don't get winded so it seemed to never end. Eventually there was a group of us fighting together. When one person would get ganged up on, another angel would go to them. But we were forced to spread out as more Leviathans joined the raid. When me and Eden were doing alright we would look slightly in any direction seeing our siblings being eaten, we could hear their screams penetrating the air. The fear in their eyes was enough to drive anyone insane.

"All of the sudden as Eden was fighting a Leviathan she stopped. It was as if something called out to her. She went rigid and not even a fraction on a second later we heard a sound, it was like a high pitched howl, from things that shouldn't be able to howl. All at once her eyes darkened and she shoved her daggers into the Leviathans eyes, so far that it went into her brain. She dropped dead and Eden wasted no time, running to her animals. I followed close behind after killing my adversary. When I got their I jolted to a sudden stop. The horror on Edens face was evident as a group of Leviathans surrounded the group she had put in the hole. They were ripping the roots of the trees out when Titus suddenly lunged out, attacking one of them, making the others quickly back up. He stood up as high as he could to make himself more of a threat and baring his teeth. One of the small animals whimpered and he turned his head to look at her with reluctant eyes, he was protecting them. He turned back and crouched. The Leviathans all jumped on him at once. Eden was still sprinting but not fast enough to get there in time. All I could see was crimson red and the horrible screams of pain that came from the poor animal.

"Eden was almost there when she tripped, not paying attention to her feet as she watched part of her soul being devoured. Her face scraped and she reached out towards him feebly, crying and screaming at them to stop. She pushed herself up and jumped on one of them, stabbing him over and over. She stopped only to start again on another. I looked around to notice the fighting had stopped on both sides. Every single person there witnessing what I was, in shock. She got done with the ones there and dropped down crawling over to Titus. Titus was more than a friend, he was literally a piece of Eden's soul. They had connected on a celestial level bonding their souls together. Losing someone like that, part of your soul rips off and goes with them, sending unbearable pain throughout your whole soul. She sat on her knees and drug his head, which was 4 times the size of her's, onto her lap.

"He looked up at her with his orange eyes that were filling up with dark red blood from his popped vessels. she looked only at his face not wanting to look at the skeleton that used to be his body. He would be going soon. I saw her lean down and lift up one of the over sized floppy ears and whisper something in his ear. To this day I don't know what. She looked up at the other animals and when she looked down his soul was waning . He breathed out slowly and we saw the light in his eyes being taken over by a dull, faded look. She screamed in agony and clutched her chest. We all heard a shattering and she sobbed. That horrible noise, the sound of a soul being ripped apart, it was the most heart breaking sound anyone has ever heard.
