Sam's p.o.v

"Did you see the guy's face when Eden asked for vegan ice cream?" Dean laughed, carrying his chocolate ice cream.

For the first time in a long time, everything seemed alright. Dean and Eden bantered, like usual. Cass and I watched quietly, enjoying their happiness as our own. I smiled, looking to Cass, who just shrugged his shoulders at their antics.

We had stopped at the park to catch the ice cream truck, then deciding to walk around. Eden, who had not gotten any ice cream, held Oliver, whose face was covered in mint chocolate chip. Every so often, Pippy would try to steal some of Oliver's ice cream, then getting nipped on the ear by Gust.

Bubbles would sit on Oliver's shoulder, taking small bites of his ice cream, looking victoriously down at Pippy. Eden would run off with him every so often, getting distracted by everything from geese to oddly shaped leaves.

"Sam, look!" She shouted, running over to a small pond.

"Eden, it's just another duck," Dean groaned, walking after her with his hands in his pockets.

Though he complained, I could tell how happy he was that she was better. It was a bit odd how quickly Eden had recovered after one event, but I knew her, and that was just the way things worked for her. She had spent more than enough time in guilt.

"But Dean," She fought, "This one's different."

"It just looks like an ordinary duck to me," He shrugged, eyeing the duck nervously.

"DUCKIES!" Oliver screamed as Eden sighed, pointing to the ducklings that were previously hidden by the mother's body.

"Yeah, they're cute," He conceded, chuckling.

He leant down, messing up Oliver's hair. Ollie groaned, batting Dean's hand away. Eden laughed, going back to petting a duckling that had wandered up. When she wasn't looking, Dean reached his hand over, messing up her hair as well. She huffed, glaring at him.

"Dean, I swear," She whined.

Dean only laughed harder, reaching over to do it again. Eden caught his hand this time, causing him to stop laughing. She coiled back, quirking an eyebrow.

"You wouldn't," Dean whispered.

"I would," She answer, dog piling on top of Dean.

Oliver squealed, jumping on top of Dean as well. I sighed, looking around to see if anyone was watching. They do know we're in public, right? Eden laughed as Dean tried to push her off, only wrestling him to the ground again. At last, Eden sat up, her hair more of a mess than it was before.

Dean groaned as Oliver jumped on his stomach, giggling. Eden chuckled, grabbing Oliver off of Dean's stomach. She stood up, looking at Dean with a smirk.

"Alright Ollie," She said, "Let's calm down. Uncle Dean's getting old."

"I am not," He fought, "Plus, you're what? A few ions old?"

"Yeah, well at least I don't look it," She retorted, then smirking, "Like you."

"It's on," Dean said, trying to grab Eden's ankle.

He was stopped however, by a blood curdling scream. Our heads snapped to the playground, where parents were running away with their children in their arms. A gangly looking man held up a knife, running at a woman. She jumped out of the way, slipping and falling onto the mulch.
