"You unfaithful shite," Maddicus spat.

"I know, right?" I responded, glaring at Dean.

After Sam had shared what he had found about Lucy's kid being born in less than two weeks, Maddy had walked in with Pippy. The second I got the chance, I had told him about what Dean had done so that I could have him on my side.

"Why are you getting mad?" Dean growled, looking at Maddy, "It's not like you care about Cass."

"Even I don't agree with cheating," Maddy scoffed, looking at Sam and Dean's looks of dismays, "What? I'm a gentleman."

"I didn't even cheat," Dean groaned.

I froze, looking to Maddy. He obviously knew too, as he looked at Dean with raised eyebrows. I honestly didn't know whether to smile or not in light of the current situation. Maddy smirked evilly, glancing at the door and then Dean.

"Why don't you tell that to Cass?" He chuckled.

"What are you tal-" Dean tried confusedly, then freezing as well as the door opened.

There was a stunned silence as everyone stared in shock at Cass, who was standing awkwardly at the doorway. He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck and stepping in.

"Hey," He said lowly, walking down the stairs.

"Cas," Sam exclaimed, setting down the book he was reading.

"Hey?" Dean asked, built up anger evident in his voice.

"Yes," Cass affirmed slowly, squinting his eyes in confusion, "Hey."

"Where have you been?" Dean said angrily, "We thought you were hurt, why didn't you answer us. You could've called back, or for God sake texted!"

"Ooh," Maddicus muttered, "I love good drama."

"I've been out," Cass answered, "Looking for ways to beat the Nephilim."

"Oh, really," Dean scoffed, "Well if you would answer our calls, you would know we had a shot to do just that. But you didn't answer, and it didn't work out."

"Dean," Cass tried quietly, "I'm sorry."

There was a small pause where everyone was desperately waiting for Dean to forgive him. I looked around the room suddenly, feeling as if something was watching us. I brushed it off as Dean sighed, raking his eyes over Cass's figure. He clenched his jaw, connecting his eyes with Cass's.

"Well," Dean said, "That's not enough. Not this time."

He walked out of the room, eyes to the ground. After he left, a silence fell on the ground. I shook it off, knowing that Cass needed some cheering up. I smiled, running up the stairs.

"Cassy," I squealed, hugging him tightly, "We missed you."

He let out a small chuckled, wrapping his arms around me.

"I missed you guys too," He revealed, stepping back.

"Cass," Sam exclaimed, letting out a deep sigh of relief.

"Hey, Sam," He greeted, his eyes trailing over to Maddy, his eyebrows furrowing.

"Castiel," Maddy said with a small smile, a crease on his forhead.

Cass narrowed his eyes, taking a closer look. He scanned Maddy, his eyes widening. I once again felt as if someone was with us, I sniffed the air, catching the scent of something that wasn't normal.
