Eden's p.o.v
"Do you think we should take her to the doctor?" Sam's voice whispered.
"No," Dean's voice answered, "I'm worried too, but I think it's just a cold. All they'll do is ask a bunch of information and then tell us to do exactly what'd we have been."
"I know," Sam sighed quietly, "But it's been two days and she's not better."
"You do know I can hear you, right?" I coughed, sitting up on my elbow.
The door was cracked, a small amount of light shining into the dark bedroom. Sam opened the door a bit more, a frown on his face.
"Sorry," He apologized, "We're just worried."
"I'm not even that sick," I argued, "It's just a cold."
"It would be a lot simpler if Cass could just heal her," Dean sighed.
"Still no word?" Sam questioned.
"No," Dean huffed, "I'm getting worried."
I got a phone call, causing me to turn away from the conversation. I answered, bringing the phone to my ear.
"Who is it?" I croaked, my throat sore.
"It's Mick," He answered, "I got your text about sick. Are you alright?"
"Yeah," I answered, "It's just a cold. I'm not feeling to good, but I'm fine. Thanks."
"No problem," He responded, "We're friends, right? That's what we do?"
I smiled, flickering my eyes to the boys. To be honest, I think we were. At first, I knew he just wanted to get closer to the boys through me. But now, we got along quite well, which was surprising. After the werewolf incident, he seemed to be waning away from his code. I wasn't sure if that was good or bad for him, but I was glad he was working on free will.
"Yeah, I guess you're right," I replied, then hearing a knock at the front door, "I have to go, there's someone at the front door."
"Okay," He said, then adding awkwardly, "Feel better."
"Thanks," I said, hanging up.
"Who was it?" Dean asked.
"Mick," I answered, "He wanted to know if I was feeling better."
"What?" Dean questioned sarcastically, "Are you best buddies with him now or something?"
"Yes," I said, throwing the covers off of me, "There's someone at the door."
"Nope," Sam said, gently pushing me back down onto the bed, "You need to rest, we've got it."
"What if it's someone trying to fight?" I asked.
"It's not," Sam chuckled, "It's one of our hunter friends who we talked to in the car."
"Okay," I mumbled, succumbing to his push and lying back down.
"You better watch out Eden," Dean smirked, "I think she likes Sam, you could have some competition."
"Dean shut up," Sam groaned, "Don't listen to him."
"Mkay," I muttered, my eyes drooping shut.
The door shut quietly. A few minutes later though, the door opened up. My eyes were too tired to open, so I struggled to see who it was. Eventually, I opened my eyes, only to see the back of Maddy slipping out.
