Eden's p.o.v
I huffed as Sam forced me to sit down, undoing the bandages around my foot and redoing them quickly. I leaned back, looking around the bunker. It had been almost a week and he was still doting about me even though I felt almost normal.
"You don't have to keep doing that," I tried, running my fingers through his hair.
"Yeah, I do," He assured, looking up at me, "For all of the patching up you do, whenever you wrap your foot you cut off the circulation."
"But I feel better," I whined, checking the time to see that it was already four.
"Because of the bandages," He added, making me roll my eyes, "Just wear it, it makes me feel better."
"Fine," I groaned, standing up when he was done.
I sent a worried glance to Dean, who had been doing nothing but sitting at the table trying to find a reason for what Cass had done. We were all pretty messed up about it if we were being honest. While Sam went to talk to him, I sat down on the couch next to Maddy.
"How's Alvis?" I asked quietly, not seeing him or Pippy.
"He's good," He replied in a whisper, "He never liked making much noise anyways, so it suits him fine."
Suddenly, I got a call. I jumped slightly before answering it as everyone quieted. There was a second of silence before Malcom's voice came through.
"Hey Eden," He introduced breathily, a certain urgency to his voice.
"Malcom," I replied sitting up in alarm with furrowed eyebrows, "What's wrong?"
Maddy's head snapped to me, making me almost smile if not for the sudden worry I felt. I heard a thump on the other side of the phone and a scream. My eyes widened as I held the phone away from my ear.
"What's happening?" Sam called over, causing me to put the phone on speaker.
"Um," He sounded, someone shouting as I heard a gunshot, "Can you come over?"
"Where are you?" I asked.
"Shit," He paused, a cracking noise bleating through the phone, "In the alley next to the Tabaco shop."
"I'm coming," I assured, hanging up the phone and jumping off the couch.
"Where do you think you're going?" Sam stopped me with his arm.
"The alley next to the Tabaco shop," I answered, looking at him like he was dumb.
"Your foot isn't healed," He pointed out, "You're not going."
"Sam," I sighed, annoyed because this was serious, "I'm going. You can come if it makes you feel better."
"Eden, no-" He was interrupted as Maddy casually took out his whip, staring at Sam with hard eyes.
"I feel like she's going," He observed, nodding his head to the door, "I'll be there shortly."
I smiled, slipping on my shoes as Maddy stood in between me and Sam, then running up the stairs and out the door as quickly as I could. Sam would probably be mad, but I'd deal with that later. Right now, Malcom and the guys were in trouble.
As I got on my motorcycle, I felt weight behind me as Maddy joined me. He nodded, queuing me to shoot forward. I could feel his heart beating quickly, causing me to smirk. I knew he liked Malcom. We got there relatively quickly.
