Sam's p.o.v

Six weeks, three days, ten hours, thirty two minutes, and forty five seconds. I needed no clock. I had counted every minute, every second I had been away. Dean and I had always planned ahead, this time being no different. We wouldn't break, we wouldn't say anything. I wouldn't break, no matter what.

I would break for nothing. Nothing except for nothing. I couldn't stand it, the thought of being away from my family, away from Eden. Eden.

"Cass, where's Eden?" I asked hesitantly.

I could hear as Cass shifted, looking out of the window, ignoring me. I furrowed my eyebrows. He had been okay with me earlier. I turned my body towards his. After a minute, I decided to try again.

"Cass," I warned, getting annoyed.

"She's at the bunker," He answered quietly, his hand gripping his thigh.

"Why isn't she with you?" I questioned.

I was met with silence, his knuckles now white with pressure. I sat forward.

"Castiel, why is Eden not with you?" I pressed nervously.

"Because," He said, taking in a deep breath, "She's locked in the dungeon."

The car suddenly slammed to a stop, sending us lurching forward, then settling back. My eyes widened, my throat going dry. My mind wandered to the worst scenarios. Had she went dark? Had she hurt someone? It took a moment, but my fear was overridden with unjustified anger.

"What?!" I said harshly.

Castiel flinched away from me, trying to make himself smaller. Dean moved near him, glaring violently at me. I took a deep breath, calming down.

"I'm sorry," I said gently, "Why is she in the dungeon?"

Castiel clenched his jaw, not saying a word. Dean put his hand on Castiel's shoulder, but he flinched further away, looking at Dean with a pained expression, shaking his head. He turned his head to the window once more, averting his gaze from us, looking at the now frozen scenery.

"Cass," Dean urged softly, "What happened?"

Castiel's head snapped to us, his eyes filled with anger and pain. We both backed up into our seats, not expecting this reaction. He clenched his jaw tighter, his nose twitching in anger.

"You died," He answered angrily, "You died and we felt it."

"I don't understand," Dean responded.

"We're your soulmates, we felt you die, what else were we supposed to feel? It hurt," He replied, then taking a moment to calm down, "Eden was starting to worry me. She was going to get violent with whoever she found out was responsible. I locked her up and I got your call later. I couldn't get through to her. I posted Gust and Pippy in the bunker. Sam could get through to her."

Though his explanation was vague, I accepted it. I knew that I shouldn't push him any more. He looked over to Mom politely.

"Would you please drive us to the bunker?" He asked.

He was answered with the car accelerating at an ungodly speed. I looked out the window, wishing for home to come quicker...

I opened the door quickly, sprinting out, nearly busting down the door before Dean quickly unlocked it. I ran through the halls, barely noticing that Gust and Pippy were now flanking me, all of us stopping on a dime, in front of the dungeon's door. The rest of the family following quickly in our suit.
