Tonight

"Baby it's okay! It's alright! Cause we're gonna party tonight!" I screamed as I listened to the sound of my blue tooth speaker.

I started twirling and dancing around my room completely forgetting I'm supposed to be cleaning.

"Sasha Matilda Valentine!" I heard my mom yell as my speaker made it's off noise.

I cringed and turned around saying," Yes, mom?"

"Don't you yes mom me missy! We have guest coming over in less than 14 minutes, and all I asked you do to is pick up your room. So... YOU DECIDE TO PARTY?!" She yells.

I set the brush I was using as a microphone on my vanity and said," Technically it wasn't a party cause I was alone."

"Which is exactly what you're gonna be for the next 2 weeks because you're grounded miss." My mom stated as she turned around and slammed my door.

"Uuuugh," I groaned as I flopped down on my queen size bed. I looked around, even though I knew no one was in my room, and pulled out my phone texting Ashlyn.

Sasha: I'm grounded...

Ashlyn: What'd you do?

Sasha: Nothing!

Ashlyn: Aw! That sucks!

Sasha: I know... Anyways. See you at school.

Ashlyn: okay! Night!

Sasha: Night...

I slid my phone under my mattress and sat alone for a few minutes before I started pacing around my room.

I sat down again an texted Ashlyn again.

Sasha: Hey Ashy?

Ashlyn: Yeah?

Sasha: Let's go see a midnight movie tonight.

Ashlyn: Okay! Let's meet at the lot off of St.Peters Ave.

Sasha: Ok. SYT

Ashlyn: TTYL

I put my phone down and smiled mischievously. I'm gonna sneak out tonight, and there's nothing my mom can do about it.
