As Owen lifted his head revealing a box in his hand I laughed.

"Wow! How did you even get that in your hand?!" I said in disbelief.

"Magic!" He said waggling his eyebrows. I let out a giggle as he said," Wanna open it, don't you?"

"Aw, I love how you get me like that." I said as I yanked the box out of his hand.

He laughed at me, probably because of how anxiously I'm opening the box.

As soon as I tore through the layers of wrapping paper and cardboard I gasped.

Set in the center of the bow was a wedding band, with a diamond encrusted in the center.

"Ow- Owen," I said as I took in a shaky breath. I looked up and saw that he was down on one knee.

"So," he said. "Will you marry me?"

I looked at him and the ring in disbelief as I stood up. I yanked his arm and pulled him to stand up. I pulled his head close to mine and whispered,"No."
