*Say something I'm giving up on you! Lols. Now back to the story!

--

I was sitting in a chair tapping my foot angrily and my head in my hands. Say something Sasha, I kept silently praying.

The shock of the bullet was still in her arm, and when she tried to use it it caused a reaction that made her collapse. The doctors called it "a normal reaction to a gun shot."

I don't think so.

I'm not sure if she's ever waking up again...

-----

" Its okay James, she'll wake up again." Said her mom sympathetically.

"Thanks," I muttered a couple seconds later. I had to lie to her parents and tell her I was one of her friends and that my name was James. It was an iffy back story and I'm still getting used to my "name".

"Huuuh!" I heard a shaky gasp come from the stretcher.

"She's awake!" I practically shrieked as I ran to the side of the hospital bed.

"Sasha! Say something!" I pleaded holding her shoulder.

"Something," she muttered with her eyes closed.

I chuckled at her attempt to have a smart mouth right now.

"Shhh... Baby it's okay. Tomorrow's a new day," her mom sang quietly as tears filled her eyes. I realized how hard this must have been on her and a flash wave of guilt hit my.

With my other arm I reached out and grabbed her hand.

"It'll be okay," I whispered to her.

She pulled her hands to her face and wiped her tears as she said," Thank you."

"For what?" I asked confused.

"For staying with my baby girl."

"It's not a problem, really." I reassured her.

"No really," her mom said."She's  just been through so much lately." And here comes more guilt. "It'll be good for her to wake up and have a true friend by her side."

"Wait, what about Ashlyn? Dot they always buddy around?" I asked trying to keep my role.

Her mom cleared her throat and said," She was one of the people who kidnapped Sasha."

Her eyes started tearing up and I said," Oh I'm so sorry."

"It's fine," she said. "It's been harder on Sasha. They've been friends for the longest time. Everything used to be so normal." She sighed and smiled sadly.

"It's all different now," I muttered.

"Yeah," she agreed. "Anyways, I should probably get to work if I what to be able to pay for these hospital bills." She grabbed her purse and started out the door.

"Bye," I said waving politely.

"It was nice talking to you James." She said as she quietly closed the door.

I took Sasha's hand and sighed.

"So you gonna talk now?" I asked knowing Sasha had been awake the whole time.

Her eyes flashed open and she said," Yeah. I'll talk, James."

I chuckled at my alias and smiled.

"You know you're mom was really worried about." I said my voice turning serious.

"I know," she admitted quietly as she twiddled her thumbs.

"How long until you rat me out?" I asked.

"I don't know," she said staring off into the flower vase some one had left her.

I smiled and took her hand,"Well, if I were you. I'd take your time."
