"Mmmmhh!" I yelled being muffled by a black gag. I tried to spat it away but Ashlyn hesitantly grabbed my wrist and held me down.

"I'm so sorry, Sasha. I never meant for this to happen." She said sadly.

"Mmmumph!" I yelled trying to tell her I don't accept her apology. She's trying to kidnap me for crying out loud. I felt a sudden force and knew it was too late, I'm being dragged away. I felt my shoes hitting and bumping against the gravel lot.

We approached a getaway car, and I saw it. VFF764, my ticket to freedom. I remember my dad telling me if anything like this happened, to memorize the license plate. That if I did, I could tell the police when I got free, and they can track the car. VFF764, VFF764, VFF764, I kept repeating to myself.

"Tie her up," a musky voice ordered.

"Yes sir." Said Ashlyn. She's clearly terrified of him. She froze for a second.

"Today maggot!" He yelled in her face. She trembled. Maggot, I thought. He must've been in the military. That must be why he's so tough on Ashlyn. But what do I care, I think. She betrayed me!

"Get in with the kidnap," the military man yelled.

"Yes sir," she said. She got into the back with me and sat down looking sadly at me. I looked her up and down with a death glare.

"I'm so so sorry," she whispered so only I could hear.

"Is she doing anything suspicious like we suspected?" The man asked.

"No," Ashlyn said. She must not see my writhing my fingers and wrist under me.

"Mmmmmuh!" I yelled. I felt something wet spreading under me, I got a cut from the rough rope. Owwie, I thought pouting. That's going to leave a scar! Wait, that's good. I can use it as proof that they harmed me! Yay! Go me!

"Eeeeeeewww," Ashlyn whined.

"What?" The man demanded.

"She's bleeding and it's getting all over me." Ashlyn said pouting. I rolled my eyes.

"Use the pain killer, the drowsy kind." He demanded.

"Okay," Ashlyn said nodding. She reached in a backpack and the next thing I knew, my vision was dotted with black.
