I woke up to the sound of banging on the aluminum door of the RV. Ugh, let me sleep, I thought.

I trudged my way to the door, and looked through the peephole.

"Open up. It's the AZPD. We're here to interrogate Ms.Sasha Valentine on account of her kidnapping." Said Officer Lane.

Oh crap. I'm not even dressed, I thought. Then I got an idea, I bolted to the closet we all shared, grabbing a dress. It's my favorite, really simple. It's black with white flowers dotting it.

I pulled it on over my head, and patted down my hair. Then, I ran back to the door.

I opened it and said," This is she." Man, I nailed that!

"Hello, I'm officer Lane. Can I come in?" She asked politely.

"Sure," I said not really sure how to say no to a police officer.

"Great." She said beaming. I opened up the door, and lead her to our sitting area.

"Is this okay?" I asked.

"It's perfect." She said sitting down. I copied her and tried to get comfortable. " Now, tell me how the kidnappers treated you." She said pulling out a pen and note pad.

I got comfortable, and spilled my guts. I told her EVERYTHING, even how I'd felt for a brief time towards Owen.

"Wow." She said in shock. I started shifting uncomfortably. "Well, I just wanted to let you know, you did the right thing." She said soothingly.

"Thanks." I muttered.

"Hey, I mean it. I may not be your friend or sibling, but I want you to know if you ever need to talk, just ask for Officer Lane." She said smiling. "Okay then. Thank you for all the information you provided Ms.Valentine. Have a good day." She said.

"Officer Lane," I said as she started for the exit.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Call me Sasha."

""""""""
