After college, Sasha and I went back to Arizona and worked at schools right across from each other. She worked at the middle school and I was the principal at the elementary school. We ended up staying friends and she was the maid of honor at my wedding. Sadly, that didn't end as everyone expected.

FLASHBACK

"Do you, Jenna Marie Valence, take James Ray Jackson to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest said as everyone in the church turned to face me.

I felt a bead of sweat begin to form at my forehead as I looked around anxiously. I gulped, took a deep breathe and tried to relax.

"Jenna sweetie, say something." James said.

I shook my head slightly and said,"No."

"No?" He asked in shock.

"Jenna what do you think you're doing?" My mom said as she stood up and marched to my side.

"I'm tired of lying mother." I said as I turned to face her."I won't marry someone I don't love."

I turned to face James's torn face and took his hands in mine. "Listen to me James, I like you. I really do, but I don't love you. 'Until death do you part'? I'm not ready for that."

He nodded. "I understand."

"Really?" I asked hopefully.

"Really." He said as he leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. I blushed and smiled as I turned to face my mother then him again.

"There is one more thing I must tell you though."

"What is it dear?" He asked.

"My mother set you and me up, because she wanted your money." Everyone gasped and faced my mother.

"So you never liked me?" He asked. His face looked pained.

"It started like that," I admitted. "But James once I got to know you, you turned out to be this amazing guy. And you made my life complete."

He smiled his toothy grins and then turned to face my mother.

"Although it may have been for all the wrong reasons, thank you for introducing us." He said politely.

"Ugh." My mother sighed as she trudged away to the bar.

Jame turned to face me again and said,"Why don't we go out to dinner." He then turned to face the bridesmaids and groomsmen. "All of us."

"That sounds amazing." I said as I held hands with him, and we walked away.

END OF FLASHBACK

At the end of the day, James is still my boyfriend and he proposed 2 weeks ago. I'm ready now. He's been my boyfriend for 10 years since the wedding, and we have a daughter names Pamela and a son names Theo. We all live together in the loft next to what used to be Sasha's, and I couldn't be happier.
