Have you ever heard a song and you're paying attention and you hear one line and you just think to yourself "wow that describes me perfectly" and it just kind of stays with you?
You use music as an escape don't you? No one else can understand you except the lyrics in a song. It doesn't even matter what kind of song it is. Pop, pop ballads, rock anything goes. But there's always that one line that you hear or read in the lyrics and you just fall in love with the arrangement that 26 words made.
You're obsessed. You read it and you think of the person it reminds you of. Your mind just flashes back to them because they're now connected to those lyrics. And now you hear that song you think of them and maybe you get a little teary-eyed or a stupid grin starts to crawl across your face.
Isn't it kind of crazy that when we can't find the words to describe the way we feel someone else already put them together in a song that ends up describing your mood in at least two minutes?
