Dean moved through the halls like he owned the place. And that got himself a bit of attention. He kept to himself but always cast a smirk at any girl who caught his attention. He slipped into class and leaned back in his desk propping his feet up. When his teacher came in he eyed Dean.
"You must be Mr. Dean Winchester?" Dean nodded with a grin.
"The one and only, boss."
His teacher huffed.
"You will call me sir." He said firmly. Dean shrugged a bit. "Now class take out your textbooks you should've bought.... Mr. Winchester? Are you going to get out your book?" Dean shook his head.
"Don't have one, sir. No point really. I'm not going to be here long probably. Not like I care anyways." Dean watched the teacher with a daring look.
"Well, in that case, you shall share with Mr. Novak beside you until you get a book of your own. Or if we are lucky, you leave." Dean looked at the boy beside him, freezing in his tracks. 'Holy blue eyed sex God.' He thought before shoving those thoughts back. He cleared his throat to clear his mind and tore his eyes from the teen.
"Alright, whatever."
"Glad the matter is settled." His teacher glared at him, a more infuriated look crossing his features as Dean smirked. His teacher started droning on, Dean not really paying attention.
"Hi. I'm Dean. You are?"
"Castiel."
Dean froze, the teens deep, rough voice causing shivers to run down his spine. 'Does he gargle gravel in his free time?'
"Well, it's my first da-"
"It's everyone's first day. If that is what you were going to say." Castiel deadpanned.
"Okay smart ass." Dean rolled his eyes, though he was slightly amused. "My first day in this town. Better?"
"Sure. You know, I'm trying to pay attention."
"Pfft, paying attention is overrated," Dean smirked, obviously getting on Castiel's nerves.
"Castiel! Dean! Detention after school! You know better than talking in class!"
"What!" Castiel exclaimed, shooting Dean a look that said he was ready to rip him to shreds.
"What's wrong, never been in trouble?" He chuckled softly.
"It's not funny."
"You're right. It was funny. Then you got mad. Now it's hilarious." Dean gave him a shit-eating grin.
"Listen. Don't try to be a smart ass. You have to be smart first. Otherwise, you're just an ass. Maybe you should take notes from me if I'm so great at being a smart ass." Castiel sassed. With that, the bell rang and Castiel got up, threw his things into a bag and left.
"Great, I'm partnered with a smart ass." Dean said to no one in particular.
