Pasts Catching Up

The Novaks headed home. Well, some of them. Hannah went over to a friends house, where Anna was. Raphael went to see a girlfriend and he dropped Gadreel off at a friends. Balthazar and Crowley went out, they wouldn't elaborate on where. The only ones who actually went home were Alfie, Lucifer, Castiel, and Gabriel. When they arrived, they wished Raphael was there.'
        Saying the house was a mess was an understatement. It looked like a tornado had whirled through. Furniture was overturned, drawers were strewn everywhere the boys hesitantly made their way inside. They looked in the rooms only to find them all trashed. All but one. Gabriel's. Instead, there was a large knife embedded in his wall, and another in his bed. Gabriel sprinted downstairs to Lucifer, terrified.

"Luci!" He grabbed his brother's arm. Lucifer looked down and frowned, Gabriel, looking like a frightened child.

"Are you okay?" He asked gently. Gabriel shook his head.

"N-no. I know who did this.... Go look in my room." Gabriel whimpered. Lucifer headed up the stairs. He quickly shot a text to Sam telling him to get his ass over there. He went back downstairs and righted the couch. Gabriel collapsed on it.

"He's back Lucifer. He's back and he's going to kill either me or you guys.." He pulled his knees to his chest. Sam walked into the house his eyes widening as he looked around. But Gabriel's terrified look caused him to snap out of his daze. He moved over and wrapped his arms around the boy. "Sam? You shouldn't be here. He'll know, he'll hurt you." Gabriel buried his head against Sam, crying silently out of fear. Sam pulled Gabriel into his lap, rubbed his back. He kissed his head gently with a sigh.

"I'm not leaving you." He decided. Gabriel nodded a bit and stayed pressed against his side. After a while, he fell asleep. Lucifer was cleaning up the house with Castiel and Samandriel's help. "Lucifer? Gabriel told me about his other families. Is this the same guy?" He asked.

"I don't know, but it could be." Lucifer watched, despite knowing the Winchester he partially expected him to bail, want nothing to do with the Novak family after that. Sam shook his head, anger leaping to his eyes.

"If I ever get my hands on that son of a bitch." He growled, a dangerous tone creeping into his voice. It startled Lucifer a bit but he smiled. Sam wasn't going to leave Gabriel, no he was going to protect the boy. He texted the other two Winchesters telling them what had happened. They were over there in an instant. Michael was worried, and Dean went to find Castiel who was cleaning his room.

"Everything will be fine Luci." He tried to sound reassuring.

"Someone's going to get hurt."
