~Castiel's POV~

It came as a shock to most of the school when Dean and Castiel were seen hanging out more often until it was almost impossible to find them apart. Needless to say, many rumors started to spread, who started them no one is for sure but Cas had an inkling that it was Dean's jealous girlfriend. Castiel had noticed the looks she had been giving him in the halls, whenever Dean isn't around. A whispered insult, an 'accidental' shove, and looks that could kill. Every little thing Castiel noticed. It honestly concerned him. Castiel didn't know her name at first. But after asking around a bit he learned her name was Layla (A/N I didn't want to use Lisa cause I love Lisa and didn't want to use her in a negative light. =^.^= ) Layla, from what he had gathered, was the type of girl to get very very attached to a guy. However, she still slept around, like it was a game. She was one of the popular girls and had most guys at her beck and call. So it didn't come as much of a surprise when a guy shoved Castiel against a wall in the locker rooms.

"Layla would like me to tell you it would be in your best interest to stay away from Dean before she takes meters into her own hands." He smirked and stepped back.

What is she going to do to me? Moisturize me?" Castiel asked, unwilling to back down from any sort of threat. As the boy tried to process what Cas had said he marched out of the locker room.
He knew it would only be a matter of time until word got back to Layla he wouldn't stay away. Why should I? It's not like I'm a threat or something. With a sigh, he slunk through the hallway, now in a sour mood.
He perked up a bit as he spotted Dean, but deflated as he seen Layla hanging off of him. Dean looked completely love struck. With a sigh, he plasters a fake smile on his face and approached the two. Dean smiled friendlily as he seen Cas. Layla, on the other hand, glared darkly. She huffed and quickly nestled her head against Dean for a second before slipping off. Casting another glare Castiel's way. The bell rang before Cas got a chance to say anything to Dean.

"Oh, bye Cas!" Dean headed to his class. Castiel sighed softly and went to his class. Unfortunately for him, Layla was in his class. She came in late, casting Cas a venomous glare. And if looks could kill then he'd surely be 6ft under. Layla sat right behind him instead of in her normal seat on the other side of the room. She didn't say anything to him the entire class period. Her eyes burned in the back of Cas' head. He fidgeted slightly and she smiled knowing she was making him uncomfortable. Class ended and Cas rushed out and headed straight to his locker.  He opened it up and stopped.
There was a pile of roses, seemingly burnt to a crisp. Attached to the stems was a note written in deliberately girly handwriting.

Back off Castiel Novak. I will make your life hell. I will also break up your little 'friendship' with Dean. He's mine. Not yours.
                             Love,
                                         Layla

Castiel looked at the flowers, taking a deep breath. The flowers weren't only to get his attention. They threatened him.
