Hehe, I forgot to publish it before midnight... Oops. =^.^=

Dean slept restlessly on the couch in the Novaks living room. He was worried sick, Castiel never returned and it was nearly midnight. A loud noise upstairs caused Dean to jolt awake. A door slam later and Dean saw something her never wanted to see again. A pissed of Lucifer. Lucifer snatched Dean by the collar of his shirt, by then people started to come out to see what was happening.

"You!" Lucifer shouted, shoving Dean into a wall.

"Use your words, Luce."

"Don't call me that Dean Winchester. My brother is in the hospital, ICU, because of you." Lucifer snarled. Dean's eyes widened.

"W-What?" He looked at Lucifer for an explanation.

"Castiel. He crashed his car. He wouldn't have left if you would have just told him the truth!"

"I did." Dean tried to say, but Lucifer was having no part of Dean's excuse.

"No! No, you didn't. Don't give me that bullshit Winchester. I know, trust me, I know. You hurt him. You think you know what's best for my little brother. But you don't!" He roared, his eyes livid with rage.

"I thought I was doing the right think okay!" Dean defended himself. Lucifer let his drop to the floor with a soft hiss.

"Whatever. I just hope you know he's in there because of you." By then tears has leaked from Lucifer's eyes.

"Dean." The gentle voice of Lisa spoke. She tapped Lucifer to get him out of her way as she walked over to Dean. "You should've told me. I would have gracefully bowed out, let you love who you wanted. I heard what you told him earlier. You know that it's not true." She smiled. "I don't want to be in the way of love, okay?" She held her hand out for Dean. He took her hand and stood up.

"I'm such an idiot." He sighed. Lisa laughed softly.

"Yeah, you are. But you made a mistake, one you can fix. I'm happy to just be friends with you, Dean Winchester." She pulled him into a light hug. Michael dragged himself down the stairs, the last to arrive. He sobered up instantly when he saw his boyfriend crying. He quickly moved to console Lucifer, who melted into his touch.

"We can," Lucifers voice cracked and he cleared his throat, "we can go visit Cas in the morning... For now, everyone just get some sleep."

Dean fumbled with the sleeve of his shirt nervously as he waited outside the door of a hospital room, Castiel's hospital room. He didn't want to go in, didn't want to face the reality that the goofy blue eyes boy he fell for was hurt because of him. Castiel hadn't woken up yet, he broke his arm, bruised a few ribs, fractured part of his leg, and completely totaled his car, but other than a few other minor cuts and bruises he was okay. Dean took a deep breath and walked in. A steady beeping of a monitor reminded Dean that Cas was still alive. Dean sat beside his bed and hesitated before taking his hand gently.

"Cas... I'm sorry. This is all my fault I'm such a dumbass. I couldn't see... I thought I was doing what was right, what was best for you. Y'know? But the truth is I was scared. I was scared about how you made me feel, how open I can be around you. It's something that I'm not used to.... Castiel, I love you."

"I thought you'd never shut up." Castiel groaned with a lopsided grin. He was a little out of it but woke up slowly. Dean smiled.

"Hey."

"Hi. So, you were having a chick flick moment?" Cas chuckled. Dean gently flicked Cas' uninjured leg. Castiel went to sit up, rubbing his leg.

"Oh no, you don't. No getting up for a while."

"Dean... I can't feel my legs."

"What?" Dean stood up quickly.
