~Lucifer's POV~

"Lucifer!" An exasperated Michael shook his head. "We're supposed to be getting work done." He groaned a bit annoyed but smiling.

"Sorry. Not really. But I'll pretend to be." He smirked. Lucifer stood up and moved over to where Michael was sitting cross-legged on the couch. Lucifer plopped down beside him and looked over his shoulder. Michael briefly glanced over at him, aware of how close the two of them were. But he was used to it. Lucifer stretched out behind Michael and relaxed simply watching the other male. Maybe he wasn't too subtle about how he felt about Michael, but he wasn't going to admit to anything. He had fallen for the male. Quicker and harder than he would have ever expected. He wasn't prepared to jump that particular hurdle yet to see if Michael felt the same way. So Lucifer was stuck being affectionate and flirty but it seemed Michael always took it in a friendly way. Though by now, nearly everyone could tell how Lucifer felt. Especially Charlie.
Lucifer sighed softly and continued to stay stretched out behind Michael. Michael stood up with a soft smile as he turned and looked down at Lucifer.

"What are you doing?" He asked with a small shake of his head. "You're supposed to be studying for math."

"Yeah... But I have more interesting things to study." Michael walked over to his bag. He busied himself with getting something out of his bag to hide the blush creeping up on his face.

"What's up bitches?" The front door flew open.

"Hi, Charlie." They said in unison. She grinned and flopped down on the couch. She looked between the two, noticing Michaels blush from her position and Lucifer's affectionate look he was giving Michael. Michael stood up and stretched.

"We should do something!" Charlie suggested. "We could go watch a horror movie!" Michael squeaked as he remembered the last movie.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you." Lucifer smirked. He looked over at Charlie who had a knowing look. Lucifer blushed and glanced away from her prying eyes.

"Awesome! Luce, you drive." She hopped up off the couch. Lucifer grabbed his keys and all three of them started to head out to his car.

"Wait, Michael." Charlie grabbed his arm.

"Yes?"

"You know, if you keep staring at Lucifer, he might..." She trailed off with a suggestive smirk.

"Wha~n I I don't know what you're talking about. I don't like him like that. And he doesn't like me like that either. " He stuttered. Charlie sneezed, blatantly faked.

"Sorry, I'm allergic to bullshit." She grinned and headed out to the car.

They arrived at the theatre. Charlie disappeared before reappearing with a giggling girl trailing after her.

"What? I needed my own date." She smirked. Both Lucifer and Michael blushed a bit but neither noticed. The four of them headed inside after buying tickets and two bowls of popcorn for each pair. They took their seats and waited impatiently for the movie to start. Lucifer had, discreetly, moved the arm rest separating his seat from Michaels, already expecting him to be pressed against his side at the first scare. However, what he didn't expect was Michael to freeze up at the first sign of a clown. He looked over, slightly concerned when he noticed how shaky he was, and the movie hadn't even started up yet.

"Charlie, I think Michael is afraid of clowns. Like, bad." He murmured. Charlie looked up from where she was flirting with the girl she brought.

"Well, shit. This movie is entirely based around clowns... Just keep him calm." A smirk made its way onto her face. Lucifer rolled his eyes, more concerned about Michael.

"Hey, Mike, you okay?" He asked leaning over.

"Y-y-es" However he shook his head. The clown appeared on screen again and he was buried in Lucifer's side in an instant. Lucifer smiled fondly and wrapped his arm around the terrified teen. Michael tried to keep one eye on the screen so he could at least attempt to appreciate the movie but his fear of clowns made it nearly impossible. He hid his face again and when he felt Lucifer jump a bit he could only presume what was happening. Not to mention the sounds. By the end, he was trembling uncontrollably. He had made the mistake of forcing himself to watch the last twenty minutes of the movie and he regretted it. When the room lit back up Lucifer gently nudged the trembling form of Michael.

"Is it over?" He asked, his voice barely above a squeak. Luci nodded and stood up. The three teens, Charlie ditched her date. Michael still had not fully recovered. Lucifer sighed and turned so Michael was facing him, Mike's back to the car. Michael jumped a bit and looked up at Lucifer while Charlie hovered nearby.

"Hey, you're fine. Just calm down okay? I understand that shit scared you, but nothing is going to get you. I promise." He smiled fondly down at Michael. Michael merely nodded his fear instantly replaced by butterflies as he noticed how close Lucifer was standing. When Lucifer went to take a step back Charlie huffed and lunged forwards, shoving Lucifer into Michael. This ended up with Lucifer pinning Michael to the car. "Oh, um... Sorry?" Lucifer offered a lopsided grin. Michael barely heard what he said, staring up at Lucifer.

"It's okay, didn't say I minded." He said quietly.

"OH just kiss already!" Charlie huffed again, crossing her arms. Her outburst snapped both teens out of the moment. Both their cheeks were stained red as Lucifer, reluctantly, pulled back.

"Maybe another time Charlie." Lucifer cast a smirk towards Michael, who blushed even more.

It's this time that I realize I do not know how to write cute stuff. Time to read one-shots and things now. Gives me a valid excuse to read more fanfiction right?
