My love.

••••••••••••••••A month had passed since Yoongi found a shivering and broken Jimin in his backyard.
During the span of the month, Yoongi attempted to nurture the boy back in to health, and had successfully done so, according to Jin, who visited at least once a week.
Jimin had gained weight drastically, being fed fatty foods to get him to a healthier weight quicker. His cheeks began filling out, growing puffier and a flush of life coloring his soft skin.
The bruises, mostly gone, all except for the horrid yellowing one on his neck.
That one was taking its time to heal.
Although Jimin was recovering from his physical injuries, no longer limping, there were wounds that Yoongi couldn't exactly heal with medication or food.
Jimin suffered from night terrors.
The first one occurred when Yoongi attempted to let the boy to sleep on his own, leaving the bed once he was sure the younger was sleeping. Once Yoongi settled into one of the spare rooms, rolling around trying to get comfy; he heard a cry of pure and unadulterated terror. A scream so terrible it had his skin tightening around his bones.
He ran in to the room only to find a violently thrashing Jimin, screaming apologies and pleading for his life, for mercy. Yoongi couldn't recall a time when he had been this scared. His hands fluttered over the youngers body, holding him down to prevent him from hurting himself. He shook Jimin awake and called his name, yelling, trying to help him escape from the confines of his own mind.
As soon as his eyes flashed open, Yoongi could see the raw fear and pain exuding from those beautiful brown orbs, as well as confusion and panic.
He slept with Jimin once more that night, whispering words of safety and security to the sobbing boy. Jimin never spoke of his nightmare and Yoongi never asked, afraid of sending the boy into a fit of tears. Instead he comforted him and held him close. The night terrors became less and less.
He slept with him the night after that, and the one after that.
And before he knew it, Yoongi found that sharing the bed with the hybrid came to him as easy as breathing and was comforting as well.
He'd grown attached.
Jimin was a very excitable kitten, and adored playing with anything that moved. He'd leap around the house for periods of time only to later be found napping in the living room's window seat.
Just as Jin had suggested, Jimin got plenty of sun, although, it was difficult at first to convince him to go out in the backyard. It was only when Yoongi assured the younger that he was completely safe because he was there to watch him, did Jimin allow himself to run freely and duck in between the trees closest to the yard, chasing butterflies.
He laughed plenty and Yoongi decided that a smiling Jimin was what brightened his day, not the sun.
He loved the innocence the kitten somehow managed to hold the on to, as well as the kindness. Yoongi had never met someone quite like Jimin; absolutely captivating.
It was morning, Saturday morning, and Yoongi was currently making breakfast, pancakes(He was no Jin but they were decent), while Jimin lay on his tummy watching T.V in the living room, tail waving around lazily.
His little blue shorts mostly covered by yet another of Yoongi's shirts. As if sensing the stare, Jimin turned to look over his shoulder and smiled sweetly at the elder. Yoongi huffed a small laugh, heart fluttering, and continued to flip pancakes.
