To a New Time

"My queen, I must speak to you." Seto walked up to me, I was sitting in the garden drawing when his voice interrupted my thoughts "What is it?" I placed the picture down and gave him my full attention "Also, I told you to stop calling me that." I sighed "Forgive me, it is a habit, you are the queen after all." I crossed his arms "Pharaoh seems very irritated, none of us truly wish to speak to him, in fear of making it worse. I was hoping I could ask, would you mind seeing what is bothering him?" Seto asked hesitantly "I see no reason why not. Where is he?" I asked as I stood up "He stormed off from the throne room. So I am not sure." He bowed at me "That's fine, I think I have an idea of where he is." I took off towards my new destination as Seto thanked me.

3 years after the party and that night he confessed to his feelings and I took the time to figure out mine, he was patient so I could figure them out, it also can down to my childhood and my teen years not wanting to turn down the opportunity to be with him, and here we are, married to an anime crush from childhood and loving it. I walked down the halls as I thought about this life, I didn't miss my old one, not much anyway. But I was wondering if anyone was looking for me in my old world.

"I found you." I cooed lowly as I walked into our shared chambers, he was in the bath trying to relax. "Did you need something?" He questioned with an annoyed tone "Sort of." I walked up behind him, got on my knees and started messaging his shoulders, as the servants that were here before left "Seto wanted me to see why you are mad." I stated bluntly "I am not mad." He opened his eyes and looked at me the best he could "Great joke, try making it funny next time." I splashed him slightly "It is just a stressful day." He admitted "The life of a king is never easy." I sighed "What is it this time?" I placed my head on his wet locks as I continued to message him "Mana blew up a wall by accident, she wanted to show me her new magic, and now I am missing a wall. Mahad and Isis keep bringing it up about me needing an heir, but they do it subtle, as if not trying to make it obvious, but it is very clear." He sighed in relaxation closing his eyes once more "I see." I mumbled "I mean... it's not like we haven't been trying to have a kid." I blushed at the thought of the passionate nights I have for about 5 months. "I understand that, I told them, and Mahad has brought it up about getting a new wife." He groaned "That's fine, I mean, ya need a kid so if you need to get another women to do so, then fine." I spoke without hesitation "Nonsense!" He turned around to look at me "I married you, and you alone, we will figure something out." His eyes bore into my soul "Ok, ok settle down." I chuckled.

"That took longer then I expected." I mumbled as I felt my face heat up, Atem thought it would be best for me to bathe with him, but that ended up causing things to get hotter then before and we were in there for 2 hours. After that he went back to finish his work as I left to check on somethings. As I walked into my old room I found my bag and, I hadn't touched this stuff for weeks, I am going through withdrawals, I grabbed my bag to take out my phone when a wave of dizziness hit me, I placed my hand on the near by table to steady myself but the dizziness worsened and I feel on my side as blackness took my vision.

When I woke up I was under a bridge of sorts in the same clothes and with my bag "Oh crap now what!?" I stood up quickly only to fall back onto the wall from losing my balance, I could hear cars and chatting, it sounded like a city I peeked my head out from the bridge to see I was back in the modern day, I pulled back into the shadows as a familiar voice spoke to me "I am back in my own world!" It was that dragon, "I haven't heard you in weeks, where did you go?" I asked as I pulled my clothes out of my bag to change "I just wanted to relax. But now I am back home, in the world I belong to." It spoke happily "Good to know you have feelings, you always seemed so stoic and emotionless." I zipped up my bag after changing and aligned it over my shoulder "Hush." The Dragon laughed as I left the under shadow of the bridge.

~1 Year Timeskip~

My new life was the same, rocky and hard, I had ran into a nice elder lady whom saw me struggle with this life and offered to adopt me. I nicknamed her Nana Panda, she loved pandas with all her heart, she even was an archeologist, and traveled the world, she finally retired and we moved to Japan, I was starting school today and Domino High, sadly I didn't have time to afford and get the uniform, I was more worried about getting there on time.

I bolted around the streets, a sheet of paper clutched in my hand with the instructions, and an Apple sticking out of my mouth as my bag bounced along my back with ever step, I crossed the road just across from the school, I was an hour late, such a great way to start the school year, I chomp down on my apple till I pass a trash bin and I throw it in and run inside. The school was three levels plus the roof so four in total, I made it to the second floor and ran into someone he seemed to be a teacher, I laughed myself before I fell down and bowed sheepishly "I am so sorry sir! I am late for class do you know we're class 1-B is?" I looked up at him "Yes it is down there last door on the left." He smiled and pointed down the hall "But please refrain from running." He waved me off as he headed down the stairs "Thank you." I nodded before i remembered my shoes... I didn't change them! I groaned as I headed back downstairs to fix that.

After I put my shoes in my locker I headed back upstairs to my room now 1 hour and 14 minutes late I face palmed inwardly as my foot falls could be heard echoing throughout the building. Finally outside the room I took a calming breath and opened the door slowly, hoping to go unnoticed. Fate had other ideas, the moment I opened the door the teacher gave me a death glare "You must be Miss (L/N), glad you could join us on your first day." She spoke as she turned away from the bored to give me her full attention, I stepped into the room as a few gasps and gossips could be heard "My apologize, I woke up late, and got lost on the way here. It won't happen again." I bowed as I put the paper in my skirt pocket "I will let it slide this once." She spoke sternly "Now about your uniform..." She started "I spoke to the principle about that, I am working on getting the money for it, so he told me to just wear something that is close to it for now, but I need to get it by next week." I lifted my head up "Very well. Let's see you need a seat." She glanced around the room "In the back. By the window." She spoke "Copy down what is on the bored and get the rest from earlier from a classmate." She turned back to the bored. I made my way to my new desk as everyone went back to scribbling down the words or drawing.

Lunch time!!!!! I shouted in my head as I headed upstairs to the roof to eat. (Much anime, such main character) Like always I was a loner, not that I minded. I opened the door, and found a spot in the shade under a huge willow tree that stood beside the building. I got comfortable as I started digging into my bag for my store bought lunch "I told you she went up here." A female voice spoke as the door to the roof opened I had opened my soda by this point and was sipping it as a few familiar figures walk onto the roof. The cast of Yugioh looked over at me, it took all my will power to not spit out my drink "There she is!" Tea cheered as she ran up to me "Hi!" She smiled "Um... hi." I spoke quietly "So your the new girl Yugi was talking about." Joey spoke as he looked me over "Joey!" Yugi whined as Tristen laughed "Sorry about them. Let me introduced you, I am Tea. The blond it Joey, the brown haired guy is Tristen, and this is Yugi. He had class with you and told us you were new. So we thought we would get to know you, to make your first day easy." She sat down next to me as the boys followed and sat around us "I already know who you are." I sighed in my thoughts "Oh... thanks." I mumbled shyly "No need to be shy, we won't bite." Joey laughed at my shyness "Joey be nice." Yugi spoke "I am being nice." Joey opened his lunch.

"So where are you from?" Tea asked as we ate "Hard question." I bluntly stated before thinking "What do you mean?" She looked confused "Oh!" I gulped "Shit shit shit" I thought "Oh, you see I... I live with my Grandma. We moved around a lot so I have been almost everywhere, so it's hard to say we're I am from." I laughed nervously "Oh, cool! Where have you been" Tristen asked as they all looked at me curiously "Different parts of China, Europe, went to America... once. Oh and Egypt." I finished as I took a bit of my food "Cool. Why though?" Joey asked in suspicion "My grandma was an archeologist, she retired last week. So I went with her on her travels." I looked at him "Interesting, how did you get schooled though?" Yugi pipped in this time "Nana taught me history, her co-workers did the rest." I shrugged as if I wasn't lying through my teeth.
