Sarcastic Teens are not Needed

The palace was nice... ya know for a teenager being dragged there by force. We had arrived in the throne room, the guards were dismissed as Priest Seto, Mahad and Isis showed up next to Atems throne "Let us begin." He spoke calmly "I have told my priests about the event, first you steal and apple, then deny a punishment." He looked at me with eyes I still couldn't read. My hands were tied with rope that irritated my (S/C) skin "I already apologized about denying a punishment, but I am not apologizing for being hungry." I spoke up as Mahad and Seto looked shocked and angry, Isis looked somewhat amused, knowing her, she saw this coming. "How dare you speak to his highness in such a tone!" Seto barked at me "I gave him a tone? I thought it would be more of an attitude." I chuckled "Honestly this is a waste of time, just kill me or throw me in the dungeon or whatever." I sighed moving a piece of hair out of my face with my bound hands the best I could.

Seto and I shouted at each other with nothing my grace and attitude for about 3 minutes till Atem stood up in annoyance "Enough! Both of you are being immature. Mahad, what do you think we should do?" He asked his magician "I believe we should take a look at her soul, my king." He spoke bluntly "I am sure Seto and I could handle whatever it holds without the others." He finished, Atem nodded before looking to Isis, she nodded and stepped forward, her necklace started to glow, the air around me changed slightly, it wasn't heavy, or hard to breath, it was more calm, and peaceful.

The light from the necklace faded, when it did I felt a presence behind me, I turned my head to see the Dragon from the card I took from the cave, it was coiled around me form lazily, it just barely fit into the large throne room "Her soul is not corrupted by darkness, my king, it is the purest I have seen from a criminal." Isis spoke as her gaze went from the Dragon to me Atems gaze was on the Dragon since it showed itself "That means nothing, she houses a dangerous beast inside her, she could abuse it's power." Seto stated as he walked next to Isis as he raised the millennium rod getting ready to use it, the Dragon glanced at him for a moment be off lowering its head next to me as if being submissive "Isis are you sure you saw no darkness?" Atem asked as he glanced at her "Yes." She nodded "Tell me, where are you from?" He looked at me, thought about it for a few.

"No where." I spoke up after a few moments "Don't lie to his majesty, answer his question." Seto growled "I am being truthful, where I come from, does not exist yet." I stated "Explain." Atem ordered "I am from the future, believe me or not, I don't care. But the land I come from has not been discovered yet." I took a breath "I could show you, prove to you I am not of this time, but I need my hands to do so." I lifted my tied hands up "If you try to escape-" I interrupted Atem "What's the point? I have no where to go even if I did, I would die out there less then a day." I finished "Very well. Mahad, untie her, but stay close by in case she trys to run." He sat back down as Mahad did as told.

When my hands were freed I untied the rode around my neck to let my cloak fall, they hadn't seen my clothes till now, they looked confused as I grabbed the bag off my shoulders and unzipped it cautiously as to not make Mahad think I was up to anything, when it was open I pulled out my electronics and my solar powered charger, "These are items from my world, they help us communicate with others that are far away." I held up my phone, "These are for entertainment, you can play games on them." I held up my 3ds. "..and that?" Seto questioned as he pointed to my solar charger "This helps power these items, they last a while, but need to be restored after they are used." I mean I didn't lie, but if I told them what it actually was they may think I use it to steal Ras power or something. "Show me the one that has games." Atem spoke as he looked at my 3ds.

This was somewhat easier then I thought. After a few hours of playing simple games with Atem, he let me off the hook, but Seto wasn't so happy, Mahad left me alone but kept a close eye on me as Isis confirmed she knew of my arrival from her necklace. Atem and I sat in the palace garden playing a game of chess on my phone, he was enjoying it greatly, he had some questions about my time, which I answered as best I could, I mean when you have an angry priest watching you whom could beat you with a solid gold stick you get stiff from slight fright for your well being.

~Few days time skip~

I was given a room of my own, though it was right next to Seto... not good, I met Mana and the others, they are nice, I was laying on my bed looking at the card, my mind was blank for once as I looked over it, night had finally come and a nice cold breeze filled my room, "Enjoying your fate yet?" The same voice pipped in "No, you an I need to have a talk!" I growled "Why am I here? Who are you? What is with this card? Why did it show up next to me in the th one room?" I bombarded the voice with questions "Silly." It spoke "I am the dragon, I have been waiting for you for a long time." It spoke calmly "Why?" I sat up "Because I was trapped in your world, I needed you to come back to my own." "You're from this world?" I asked "No, I am from the more modern world, but in this reality." It spoke again "Now for the cliche question... why me?" I finally questioned "Because you are the only one fit to help me. I needed a pure soul, a kind soul, to help me." It stated "I am not pure. Kind, yeah sometimes, pure, no way." I laughed "I said pure soul, not pure body, or pure mind." The voice laughed with me "You know of this world, you know of the modern version of this world. You have a destiny here that you can no avoid. Accept it." It finally stated "I did really have to much of a life in my time or world... maybe I could have fun in this one... I guess." I laid down as sleep started to creep up on me "Good. It has been set into motion. Just let it flow." Those words were the last thing I heard as sleep took me into a peaceful slumber.
