Calm before the Storm

Things will play out just a tad bit different than in the series. Short chapter. Please enjoy.

"...Kaiba Corp king on a blimp like Kiki if you're on the ground you're sure not..." "What are you doing?" My song was interrupted by a deep voice "That apple had it coming!" I shouted in shock spinning around to find Kaiba standing in the hall with a smirk "I was just chilling." I admitted as a blush over took my cheeks "Singing at the top of your lungs on a blimp is just chilling?" He crossed his arms more amused "Shut it rich boy. Shoo." I wiggled my arms around before spinning back around and skipping down the hall.

After the hallway incident most everyone was in the kitchen trying to not get murdered by Marik or Bakura. Ishizu and Serenity made some lunch, Joey and Tristen were pigging out while Duke watched from the sidelines along with Yugi and Mei, it's a shame stuffs gonna get real soon. Mokuba shuffled in with a clip board in hand "Hey guys, once your done come up to the control room so we can get started on the second part of the tournament." With that he walked out "Am I the only one who forgot we were in a tournament?" I asked bluntly "No I actually forgot too." Joey admitted before munching down the rest of his meal.

Once in the control room everyone was lined up, Kaiba explained how we take turns dueling whoever gets drawn from the machine, Kaiba won't duel till the final round.

Me-Odion (pretending to be Marik)

Those are the first three duels for tomorrow, I might be doomed... I thought. Everyone filtered out of the room slowly as Joey raged on and on about how he can't wait to duel Serenity tried to calm him down while Mei poked holes through his rage and slowly growing ego, I separated from the group already freaking out about tomorrow, Odion isn't a bad guy, he is just to loyal to betray Marik, I don't want to possible hurt him or cause Marik to be mad at him if I end up winning, that isn't far to him.

I made my way passed a window stopping to look out, the scene was nice, a bird eyes view of the city, colorful lights illuminated my sight "Any reason as to why you tried sneaking away?" My gaze turned to the star haired teen "Just thinking." I spoke looking back out the window "Yeah being in a room with a possible killer can cause on to think." He laughed "I agree fully." I smiled "So how is Yami doing?" I started walking, Yugi followed "He is fine..." he paused looked to his left then spoke "He said hi." The short tenn smiled "Hi hi." I chuckled, he caught up to me walking right next to me, this reminded me of the passed. Atem and I would walk around the palace garden a lot while he was courting me, it was always relaxing, even though I am not actually walking with him.

Yugi had walked me to my room said goodbye then headed to his own, once inside I relaxed with the lights off, hoping the duels ended promptly the same since I am now thrown into the mix, tomorrow will be eventful I'm sure.
