You are Hopeless

Short chapter. Slight change.

I sat in the most soft comfortable chair ever, staring out the window. My current position, in a blimp floating over Domino City. Yep, I made it to the second round of the tournament, go me. It was a hard rode on the last day for all of us... minus rich boy.

~Flash back~

I had finished my final duel, grabbed my last locator card, as I walked around the city I had spotted Yugi and Kaiba heading into a tall building, if I remember correctly for a team duel with some psychos obsessed with the moon... or was that just in the abridged series? Either way, things were getting real, so I stalked them up to the roof and stayed behind the door as they dueled, it seemed like a few hours but it was only one when they finished and the two psychos fell into the building from the cracked glass roof as Kaiba and Yami ran to the edges on the opposite side of the door, standing on a thin steel beam "You boys need help?" I asked loudly causing them to glance my way "(Y/N)! What are you doing here!?" Yami shouted with worry "Just checking in, nice duel." I shrugged grabbing a long thick piece of lumber, odd that wood was even up here but convenient. "It's dangerous!" He barked at me "Yep." I chuckled as I lined the lumber before dropping it onto the beam they stood up so they could cross "Now come on dears. Careful, now it's dangerous." I smirked

Kaiba was of course the first to cross, then Yami "Now... I do believe we need to get to the docks to save some people. Let's go." I started down the stairs "How do you know that?" Kaiba asked in a gruff tone "You're not needed for this. But I need your helicopter." I blurted out bluntly "Excuse me?" He growled "Did I shuddered princess? Helicopter? Big flying thing with spinny things on top, ring a bell?" We made it to the elevator "Maybe ask nicely." He glared at me "Even if I did you still wouldn't cooperate. Helicopter now!" I shouted as the elevator descended, his eyes widened as he slowly pulled out his cell phone.

Once in the helicopter we made our way to the docks. Nice city view honestly. "Are you going to answer my question now or what?" Kaiba asked from across me with his arms over his chest "What was your question?" I looked at him "How do you know we have to go to the docks? Or are we on a wild goose chase?" His voice was low and threatening "Oh. Nope. That question is on a need to know bases, and you are not on that bases." I looked out the window.

Tea was tied up with a piano tied above her, seriously I thought it was a huge steel weight of sorts... whatever it is what its is. Joey and Yugi were both tied to weights that will be dropped into the ocean if their life points hit zero dragging them down into its depths. Joey and Tea were under hypnosis of sorts, Yugi had put the puzzle on Joey in the hopes of bringing him out of it as they dueled.

Joey had come to his senses near the end of the duel, Joey forced a tie. Refusing to send his best friend into the ocean, and Yugi refused the same. They both plummeted into the ocean as Tea screamed, Duke and Tristen followed suit, they showed up with Serenity half way through, she had recently had surgery to see once more but was still healing her eyes. The keys to unlocking their cuffs was hanging onto a wood beam, on instinct I ran up to it and started climbing, I jumped and grabbed them and dived into the ocean.

Water is such a pain, all wet and salty ocean... ew. It was dark, but the light from the sun illuminated enough for me to see, Joey was close so I unlocked his cuffs first, he started resurfacing as I dived further down to Yugi, they both were starting to lose consciousness as I was innkeeper few minutes of breath, I undid Yugi, grabbed his waist and started swimming, grabbing Joey as we passed him.

I gasped for air once we hit the surface the others called me over, the water splashed my face as I dragged the two unconscious twits over to the docks, once near Tristen grabbed Yugi as Duke grabbed Joey. I pulled myself out of the water as they attended to them and collapsed into the wood platform exhausted and to worn out to keep my eyes open.

When I woke up it was clear I was in the hospital, the beeping heart monitor was obvious, the room was horrible white and dull, I sat up to see my friends asleep in chairs and on the floor, Serenity had her bandage off, which sucked, I wanted to see here reaction to seeing her brother once again for the first time in years. It was sunset the nurse checked in on me and unhooked the monitor, it annoyed me so much. Everyone was still sound asleep as a light blinded my vision "That was a reckless move." A deep voice spoke with concern "Yeah, but not one I regret." I shrugged looking over at the former Pharaoh "You have done 2 dangerous things today, are you trying to worry us to death?" He stood up from his chair and walked over to my bed side "No, but you and Kaiba needed help getting off the roof, and Yugi and Joey needed help getting out of the ocean." I pulled the blanket up over my shoulders, it was cold in the room "You worried all of us with that stunt. I saw, even when Joey wore the puzzle, I saw you dive in to save them. When Yugi and Joey came too after half an hour in the hospital they ran straight into your room to check on you, you lost consciousness after saving them, took in to much sea water." He stated bluntly "I could have figured that out." I smirked "This isn't funny (Y/N)!" He shouted in a whisper "Careful Yami, your emotions are showing." I stood up, thankfully I was still in my outfit "Come one we need to wake them up and get out if here to make it to the second round of the tournament." I grabbed my duel disk and walked around the room shaking everyone lightly "You should rest." He sighed heavily "I can after this tournament is done with." I crossed my arms.
