Colliding Dimensions

Virtual Reality Has Gone to Far

(Just putting these here so I don't have to keep looking them up. Nezbitt, Crumpet, Gansley, Johnson, Leichter)

Short update.

"Sooooo... what happened?" I asked the tri-colored haired teen as he sat on the picnic table with the others "A flash of light happened." Kaiba huffed as he walked to the blimp "Ah, great on the details. Tell me another story rich boy." I rolled my eyes as he grumbled to himself. "We were half way through the duel, we summoned our God cards and when they clashed we got sent back in time for a brief moment..." Yami started as Joey handed him a water bottle "we ended up above ancient Egypt, we watched some sort of battle take place and when we ended up back here they whole dueling systems in the tower were ruined. Kaiba said he would fix them, we can't leave the island though." He drank some of the water "Go figure he is stubborn. Did he say how long it would take?" Tea asked softly only for him to shake his head unsure.

A few hours had passed and it was night already. I watched the stars from the beach right next to the blimp. My mind was racing with thoughts of my life, I held no real purpose in my old world, I lived life as a routine, woke up, went to school, came home, did homework, played some games or read books or scroll the web then went to bed. Of course eating and using the bathroom and shower were there, but they were only minor details. My life was dull and held no fun as I grew up, no friends and my family didn't mind my presents to much, yeah they helped me and provided for me, but rarely showed they cared about me, not that I minded, I like being alone with my thoughts and day dreams, I wasn't lonely really, just floating about life. Then I ended up here, I actually found some joy in life, made friends like I've always wanted. I guess this is happiness huh?

I leaned on my hands, they slipped under the soft sand as I yawned lightly, it's been a busy day, Tristan and Duke had been pranking people all day now that we are on land. Though not a lot of people are worried about Marik or Bakura like I am. "Nice night." A sweet voice spoke behind me "Indeed. Not often do we get to see the stars in the city." I turned my head to see Yugi "Join?" I asked with a smile.

The next morning was stormy we had to stay in the cramped blimp, not much to do honestly. My little group of friends all huddled into my room to hang out during the storm while Kaiba and Mokuba worked on whatever problems they were having, we played cards, eat snacks and basically chilled and passed the time. Around midnight we all passed out while the storm turned from light and dreary to thunderous and loud.

When we woke up instead of in my room we were in a massive tower room That over looked a hide forest in every direction. I stood up slowly rubbing the sleep from my eyes and yawned as I heard soft groans around me "Oh great I always love waking up somewhere I don't remember." Joey whined as Tristan made a sound of acknowledgment as the other either sat or stood up.

Once everyone woke up We all asked each other questions Kaiba demanding answers, just as he finished spouting out in rage the windows made a static screen and 5 faces appeared. "Finally awake we see." The oldest member spoke (at least I think he is the oldest.) "Gansley, what do you want." Kaiba crossed his arms "Simply put, revenge." Another member, the youngest? Spoke this time "Cause I fired you? Really, most normal people try to sue." He smirked slightly amused "Let's get to the point." Gansley moved his hand on his screen before holes opened up under all of us and we fell through.
