Eeny, meeny, miny, moe. Catch a shadow by his toe. If he appears don’t let him go. Just ask him out.

What the heck is wrong with this freaking world? There were so many twists and turns that it seemed like I was living in a freaking soap opera. Ash had a twin sister that she didn’t know about. (that’s definitely soap operaish) She was also kind of evil (soap opera) And I was freaking out (not so much soap operaish)

“Oh my heck,” I mumbled as I was taking this all in.

“Yeah no frickin’ kidding,” Alice sarcastically replied.

“This is… all too much. We should leave,” Ash said, staring off into space as her sister was telling us her life story. We were sitting on the… couch? Well, the medieval version of a couch. More like a cot with a back. But it was actually comfy. Back to the important stuff.

“Well, that’s all very interesting, but we have to go. We have things to see and people to do. I mean, things to do and people to see,” Ash stammered. She was actually whispering to herself as she gathered her… self. Just the few things we had with us. She was quite traumatized, and I could see it in her eyes.

We walked out of the shoe and said goodbye to all of the children and Ash’s sister.

“We will meet again,” Ash’s sister stated matter-of-factly.

“Uh, okay?” not even looking back at her sister, Ash mounted up onto Blue, “I’m exhausted, can I?”

“Sure,” Alice, Blue, and I said in unison. We were also really, really freaked out. And right then, I realized I had a giant blow pop stashed in my jean pockets, that were in one of Blue’s saddle bags. I pulled it out and gave it to Ash.

“Not even,” She said, “You just happened to have one of these, right when I needed it most,” you see, blow pops, especially the giant ones, are Ash’s favorite. And I coincidentally had one.

“Serendipity is my stripper name. By the way, I got that off of a show,”(AUTHOR'S NOTE: the show is called Warehouse 13) I said, smiling.

“Yeah, I’m sure that’s a great show,” Alice, again, said sarcastically.

“Now all I need to complete the day is… Leron,” I sighed.

“Yeah wouldn’t it be great if he was like under your spell, or something. He came every time you said his name,” we all laughed. Suddenly, I saw a shimmer in the sunlight, shining through the trees. It was smoky gray and was thickening by the minute.

“I know what this is…” I said, my eyes were squinting, “Oh my heck! It’s Leron!” I screamed and I grabbed the shadow. I, weirdly, grabbed his toe and he screamed.

                “Oh!” I yelped.

“Hey, sorry I startled you. It just tickled,” I flat out laughed

“I didn’t know you could feel stuff like that,” I blushed.

“Yeah I can, I can also feel love,” he also blushed. I wanted to kiss him so bad. Just to put my lips to his.

“You know what we should do?” he asked, “Run away for a few hours. That would be fantastic!” he squealed.

“Okay!” I exclaimed. This time he didn’t have his dark, gloomy horse. I was actually happy, for some unknown reason.   We walked hand in hand down a long road in the forest. Suddenly I felt a black cloud, surrounding me until I was covered in darkness.  I flailed my arms and legs wildly, and finally the cloud had started to dissolve into the air. When I saw what was in front of me, I gasped.
