Chapter 21 - Alice
Who killed Alice Reed? Said the King, I killed Alice Reed. She's dead.
I was dizzy, barely moving. A silver arrow protruded out of my chest, directly in my heart. And your probably thinking: WHAT?!? NO!!!! ALICE IS DEAD!!??? Lets go back.
While everyone was asleep, I snuck out. Not the smartest thing. But I had an... urge. I needed to be out. So, like the stupid person I am, I went into a forest.
The air was fresh, not the type I'm used to. It was a crisp evening, and the constant clouds had let up. Not an expected scene for a killing, I know. Then I saw it. A huge forest, so big and tall and smelling of evergreen, the type that reminds me of Christmas. I heard voices, an one sounded famillair. Someone from long ago...
Anyway, I kept moving towards to the forest and was soon enveloped in the thick branches of the evergreen. I was still drawn towards the voice. It was hauntingly familair. I needed to know who it is. Then I saw them: the King and his men. The King was mounted on a collossal white stallion, and servants surrounded him. It was his voice. The King's voice. The King was definetley not what I was expected. He was about my age, 17, and had shaggy brown hair. And then I gasped. Because the King was my first date. Jonathan Grange.
"Jonathan--" I started to speak, but his arrow was faster. It plunged into my heart. Back to the beginning. Anyway, he shot me with his arrow. Then he jumped off his horse and yelled
"Alice! What the hell?" But Alice was dead. And this is the end of her adventure in "Wako Land".
