school rules

okay.

school is about learning and getting good grades that will help you get a job and have a successful career and nice life.

so why do they care about what colour my hair is?

why do they care about how much makeup i'm wearing?

why do they care about that piercing i have?

shouldn't they be worried about...

the mental and physical health of students?

how they are coping with work?

how well they are learning?

if they are struggling at school or home?

if they are getting bullied?

it just appears to me as if the teachers don't care about anything other than the length of your skirt or how you wear your clothes. its all about how you look; like my bra strap is going to effect a guy's understanding of algebra.

oh yeah, because the colour of my nails is going to stop me from learning about cell membranes

and my nose ring is going to effect my knowledge of the digestive system

and dont forget that the length of my skirt will stop everybody from understanding english terminology

ugh
