Time to enter year 9

I'm going into year 9 now which in America would be grade 8. I'm kinda nervous because this year (because I go to a grammar school) I start my GCSE coursework. And I'm NOT looking forward to it. For the first year, I am split in my lessons and I hardly have any lessons with my really close friends. This makes me quite anxious because I'm going to have to be with people who I don't know/talk to. I'm gonna hopefully make some new friends though this year. My year 9 resolution is to not do my homework the night before/ free time on the day before my homework is handed in. I'm gonna fail anyway haha. Also I want to revise even harder for exam week. I'm so scared and I go back on the 5th of September. Wish me luck x
