|A couple days later|

Dean was currently eating a burger while he watched sports on the TV screen that was in the hospital.

It's been three days since Riley has been in a coma.

He hasn't left her side at all. He wanted to be the first person she would see when she woke up.

Their friends have come by to place flowers and balloons to wake up soon. And of course, her two teddy bears aren't forgotten as well.

"Jon?" Maria asked.

"Yeah?" Dean asked.

"When was the last time you gotten a check up?"

"Never"

"Would you like to get one? It wouldn't take too long" she said.

Dean didn't think that he would get a check up while he was spending his time here but he then thought why not? He got nothing to do.

"Sure"

"Alright, sit down on the bed and I'll get Dr. Jensen"

"No need, I'm right here" Dr. Jensen said with a file in hand.

"So, a check up, huh? You know you're suppose to get a checkup for each month to visit the doctor"

"I know, but I could careless about my health and I hate hospitals" Dean said.

"At least you're honest" Maria said.

"Okay, Jonathan Good, born on 12/7/85, stand 6'4 in height, and 225 pounds in weight. Correct?" Dr. Jensen said.

"Yes, doc"

"Okay so we are just gonna check the usual things that get checked. But first allergies?"

"Bananas" Dean said.

"Really?" Dr. Jensen asked.

Dean nodded.

"Well, looks like you haven't take your TB shot or flu shot. So you'll have two shots. X-ray is already done, eye vision is done as well, and hearing aid needs to be done as well"

Dean didn't like the hearing of needles jabbing in his skin.

"Are you afraid of needles?" Maria asked.

"Uh, no?" it came out as a question"

"Dean it's okay to be scared" she said.

Dean just looked at her.

"It just wasn't my favorite thing as a child" he shrugged.

"Understandable" she nodded.

"Okay, I'll be right back with the shots and Maria will do your hearing aid.

Dean nod his head as they watch him exits out of the room to get the shots. Maria went over to the table for the equipment to clean out of his ear.

"Okay, let's see if you clean your ear daily" Maria said.

She looks in his eye with the scope and light to shine through the shell of his ear.

She nods.

While looking at one ear, she began looking at another.

She nodded at that one as well.

"They both look good. You clean them?"

He nodded.

"Okay, that's good"

"Do I have to clean them daily?" Dean asked.

"Yes. If you didn't clean your ear properly, then it'll cause for hard time hearing"
