*Riley's POV*
It's been five months since Morgan got arrested and I already went to the OB/GYN alone without Dean because I want to surprise him with the baby gender that we are going to have.
"Hi, Riley. Where's your fiancé?" Dr. Kim asked.
"He's not coming today. I came alone because I want to surprise him with the baby gender." I said.
"Aww, that's sweet. Okay, lay down on the bed for me."
I do as I am told and lay down on the bed.
"And you can lift up your shirt for me"
I nodded and then lifted it up. She puts the cold gel on my stomach and then gets the probe and moves it around.
Then after a couple of minutes my baby popped up.
"There's your baby" she said.
I smiled just looking at it.
"It's a girl, Riley."
My smile become wider. Dean was right. He wanted a girl to spoiled.
"That's the gender he wanted." I said.
"Daddy's little girl in there."
I giggled softly and she printed out the sonogram. The nurse wiped down the gel off my stomach and I adjusted the shirt.
"Do you need an envelope for your surprise?" The nurse asked.
"That would be wonderful." I said.
"I'll be right back" she said and went to get an envelope.
I am so happy that we are having a girl. I know Dean will be excited once he finds out.
A couple minutes later, Dr. Kim comes back and hands me the envelope.
"Here you go and enjoy your day"
"Thank you" I smiled.
When I exited out of the facility, I entered the car and head to Party City to meet up with my friends without Dean.
He's already out for his workout routine at Red Canyon desert, which is far out from our home. As I arrived to the store, Renee was outside.
"Hey, did you figure out what gender you're having?" Renee asked.
"Mm hmm." I said.
"What is it?" She asked.
"I can't say. I wanna be able to tell everybody at the same time" I said.
"But I thought you only wanted to let Dean be surprised?"
"It's nice if everyone knew at the same time"
"Okay, I understand."
"Well, after the revelation, I have a surprise for you."
"Huh? For me?"
"Yeah. Come on, we can't keep them waiting."
"So what exactly are we getting?" She asked.
"Just a bunch of party stuff. Just get like girl and boy stuff so people could like take a guess or whatever"
She nodded.
We went to find the party stuff and get whatever would be good for it.
Like I need this to be good. Since this is Dean's kid and even mine.
When we get to the register, I whispered into the cashier's ear.
"Could you fill up a box with pink balloons?" I asked quietly.
