Riley and Dean arrive to the hospital for their appointment with the OB/GYN. As Riley sign the paper for her personal information, Dean went over to sit down at the waiting area and carefully look at the young man with a young woman who is seven months pregnant.
"You must be expecting to have a baby soon, right?" Dean asked.
"Yeah. We're having a baby girl." The young man said.
"Wow. I hope she'll look like your girlfriend." He complimented.
The young woman blushes and smiles.
"Are you with your girlfriend?" The young woman asked.
"Fiancée, actually."
Riley sits down right next him and talk with the young couple.
"So you're expecting too?" The young woman asked Riley.
Riley nodded.
"Yeah" she smiled.
"Did it just recently happened?"
"Yeah about a couple weeks ago." Riley said.
"I bet you'll make a wonderful mother one day" the woman said.
That also made Dean smile because to him he knows it's true.
"Thank you. What are you having?"
"A baby girl."
"Aww, that's beautiful."
The young woman giggled softly and rubbed her stomach.
As her name was called, the young couple waved goodbye to Dean and Riley.
"She's so pretty." Riley complimented.
Dean looked over at her.
"Yeah but she's never going to be as pretty as you" he said and kissed her cheek.
Riley giggled.
"Now it makes me excited to see how our baby is doing" she smiled.
He smiled as well.
"I bet our baby is doing well" he rubbed her stomach.
Riley have heard a lot pregnancy could lead to miscarriage. She fear for her life and baby that it won't happen to her.
As the nurse called her name to be inside the room, she lead the couple where the doctor is waiting for them.
"You must be Riley Jensen. Your mother talked about you a lot of times." Doctor Kim said.
"Guilty as charge. This is my fiancé, Jonathan." Riley introduced them.
"Hello Jonathan" Kim said while shaking his hand.
"Hey"
"Okay so what I would want you to do is get on the bed and slide your top up so that we have the stomach revealing" Kim said.
Riley nodded and did as she was told. Dean looked on.
"Now I have this thing where when it presses onto your stomach, it will be a bit cold."
Riley nodded understanding.
As the gel was applied on her stomach, she shivered a little and Doctor Kim move the wand around as the screen reveal the inside of Riley's stomach.
"There's your baby." Doctor Kim pointed at the screen.
"Oh, Jonny, there's our baby." Riley cooed.
Dean is in shock of happiness to see the baby on the screen.
"It's beautiful." Dean said.
"As you can tell it's not that big. It's super small but you can tell it's there. You are probably almost a month pregnant" Kim said.
