Yesterday afternoon was absolutely amazing. Besides the irrelevancy of my brother's.  The eventful evening revealed uncannily truth's.  It revealed a subject I best believed wasn't possible. It revealed that my older siblings; although most of the time wrong with their misconceptions of life, were right this time. If I'm not mistaken, I do worry of my friendship with Joya.  It scares me to know that part of me hates the thought of being friend's forever.  I don't know what to do with my conjuring thoughts.

I wake to the soft pallets of rain on my windowsill. I sigh. I hate when it rain's.  It's like The world stops and spreads it's gloom. I slowly climb out of by bed. I walk slowly to the bathroom making sure not to awaken anyone who is a light sleeper in our home. I enter the bathroom and closed the door. I cut on the light and reached for my toothbrush, and began My daily process of oral cleansing.  But as I was raising my hand to my mouth, I noticed a light ivory spot on my forearm. I looked at it and wiped it thinking it was just a measly piece of something or just my imagination. But it wouldn't leave my skin. what is this?, I start panicking and rubbed profusely. But nothing happened. I rummaged through The sinks drawers for a wash cloth. And hoped that the duo of soap and water would make this menacing spot vanish. But alas that proved failure as well. I looked at my arm's and hand's to see if there were other traces of this horrid mark. And sure enough there was. I removed my t-shirt and like a young zebra My skin was slowly surfacing with these demonic spots. I just stood there looking at my reflection. What has become of me? is this the act of karma? I feeling as if a small child who awoken Christmas morning to a stocking full of coal instead of the usual presents. I would later learn that my skin is the victim of a skin disorder by The name of Vitiligo. It's result, lost of pigment on one's skin. I sighed. Maybe it's temporary? I quickly finished my hygiene routine and walked back into my room to get dressed. I went with my usual wardrobe choice. A red flannel shirt, black slacks, white socks and black penny loafers. I found a nice matching wind breaker and put it on and walked downstairs.  Just as I was walking out so was a sleepy Janet.  Janet is the youngest of the girls. (she's also known as dunk) I smile at her.  Morning dunk!,  She gives a half sleepy smile back. Then replied back in a soft groggy voice,  "Morning applehead" (her nickname for me) I laugh. she's continues her zombie walk to The bathroom. I continue walking downstairs then entered the kitchen to find Joseph(my father)  sipping coffee. I take in a deep breath then walked in casually.  Morning Joseph!,  I said making my presence known.  He looks up. "Morning" He said then opened his newspaper and disappeared behind it.  see my father and I have a how you say tranquil relationship.  I address him as 'Joseph or Joe ' And he addresses me as 'boy' weird I know but I never push the matter further. I take out a bowl and filled it with my  favorite cereal frosted flakes, I added the magical milk and dove in.

I didn't know what to do today seeing as though it is raining.  But yet I wish not to stay here. after breakfast I told mother of My soon whereabouts if I am needed. She nods and I descended off to the park. soon after I arrive Joya emerged from behind me. "Boo!" She said epically failing at surprising me.  Hey Joya, I said chuckling a bit.  She plops beside me. "you are no fun " I give her a look. (I look that consist of furrowed eyebrows and playfully narrowed stare), oh so now I'm no fun?, She gives me challenging eye's. "sadly Mr.Jackson, you know of No word by the name of fun" She stated proudly standing up. I huff playfully. I don't have to prove anything Ms.Riley , She sits back down. "Michael? " I look at Her. those once playful eye's are now darkened with concern. Yes?,  "your hand... it has little spots on it " She said going to touch it.  I slowly move it away.  I forgot to apply lotion today, She looks at me clearly not satisfied with my answer but didn't push on the matter any further. There was a long awkward silence. Then she spoke. "you are beautiful ", I look at her in utter confusion. "you are beautiful inside and out Michael, not every man many can say this to",

I guess my silence made her feel embarrassed because she looked down silently as well. Thank-you... you are beautiful as well, I could feel her stare at me so I return with an intense stare of my own. She continues the stare as if searching my eye's for truth. My word's are true Joya you are beautiful in every way, she gives me a cheesy smile and looked down at her shoes.  I didn't mind the silence this time, it was the silence Of closure.

"I'm not beautiful Michael " She said in a near whisper. I look at her surprised.  Don't doubt yourself Harmony, she looks are me confused. "The world us filled with doubt Michael " I smile. Then we must be the one's to feel it with hope, I said looking at the sky. Joya you are the brightest of stars.. I like stars they remind me of light and Harmony... that's why I called you that,  She looks at the sky as well. "I like that name... Harmony ",it's yours for now on curtsey of yours truly, She laughs lightly. "thank-you ",I look are her. You are welcome, And once again as if on cue. The beautiful silence returns. As I look at her as the morning glory of the sun shines on her beautiful Hershey skin making it have this majestic glistening affect. I couldn't help but have this weird urge. It can't be explained but I can say it's strongly taken Me against my will. what is going on with me?, She then looks at me and those few seconds of eye locking sent My indescribable feelings on edge. next thing I know I'm in a joint soft kiss with Joya. That five second kiss was pure bliss. It wasn't hungry, it wasn't tongue, it was a kiss of simplicity. I slowly retrieve back to my original sitting position and bit my lip. I'm sorry, I said coming back to my senses.  She looks ahead with a dumbfounded expression. what did I do?, She slowly stands up. "I..I.. must go, I'll see you tomorrow Michael have.. a..uhh nice evening ", she stammered waving nervously. I stood update also. Ok... see you tomorrow, She gave a sheepish smile and turned on her way..
