Love. A word of conspicuous meaning and language. Love is a notion of what one feels in the heart. Love has no one expression. Love is something that  humans have yet to find the mystery of it's trigger. Love is something i feel is an ever lasting notion. Love was given me through the form of michael. He gave me something that i have searched and asked for. Love. One day i will be able to return his most gracious gift.

Over the past day's, Michael and I have been in constant contact. We are inseparable. Not that we want to be separated. We wake in the wee of the morning each day and meet at that same cafe. Until we have to depart for our daily lesson's. Michael was able to transfer into a university in California. It's not the same school i am enrolled in but i find it befitting for him since it is an art school. I attend a pharmaceutical one. I love everything about medicine. To me it's an inexplainable magic trick. The way those minerals of earth combine with the human or animal body. It's just magnificent. Further more, my admiration for medicine complies with me wanting to become a pharmacist. I do not know what field per-say. All in all, things have been quite trim between Michael and I. I made time to call my mother (After talking it over with Michael) and told her about Michael's return. She was veritable about it at first. I honestly don't understand her now resistant nature towards Michael. But of course she set her feelings aside. She also over the month's began talking to Michael. With him being the respectable person he is, he forgave her inconspicuous behavior and agreed to move forward. The only problem was getting my father to do the same. I made my mother promise to not tell him. Not that i want to keep it from him. I just don't want a repeat of the last encounter with my father and Michael. Michael claims he is kosher with facing my father. I believe that be so, But I know my father isn't on the same mindset. In addition to the family problems, Another emerging problem is time. Michael claims we don't spend enough time with each other. I agree but with school and looking for employment, my free hours are strenuous. I tried to justify my statements to Michael. He squimishly agreed. I despise the whole  agree to disagree thing. Moving onward, Today my mother is coming to visit. She said she had a surprise for me so I am most definitely nervous. I have a surprise for her as well. I am going to take her out. The catch is that Michael is going to be there. I thought it was a strategic way of telling her I am serious about Michael and I.

Michael and I are currently on our way to the restaurant. Antsy is an understatement to the nervousness i feel. Michael takes a quick glance at me. By the look on his face, I know he senses something is wrong. He turns his gaze straight ahead before deciding to investigate. "Harmony, Are you ok?", I nod. I don't want him to know I am nervous because knowing Michael, he will become nervous as well. He sighs. "Joya please tell me whats wrong, If you are nervous than don't be, Your mother loves you and will understand", I fidget with my fingers. I know he's right. Michael's positivity always seem to calm me. He carefully extends his hand and places it on mine all the while not taking his eyes off the road. The contact of his hands on mine sent shockwaves through my body. I feel all my anxiety slowly fade away. It's as if his touch acts as a sedative for me. He starts caressing my hand with his thumb. "Thank-you", I said softly. I feel quite childish. Like a child that went on a tyrant only to calm down once it received candy. That may not be the best simile to explain it. For the entirety of the ride Michael kept his hand on mine. Once we arrived, my anxiety returned. My heart was beating fast. It was as if, i was on a rollacoaster that was rapidly catapulting down. I slowly climbed out of Michael's truck. Closing the door behind me, I took in a couple of breaths. Michael strolled over to me and gave me a warm smile. I returned with a small one. He instantly frowned a little. Cupping my chin, he slowly lifted it and forced me to stare into the brown pools of his eyes. There I saw love, tenderness, and reassurance. He continued to stare at me then spoke. "Harmony, I love you, Do you know that?", I nod. He smiles and continues. "Then you also know that I am going to stay by your side no matter what ok?", I nod again (It was my only go to move in that situation). He moves his hand from my chin to my cheek. I knew his next move so i closed my eyes. Once i felt his lips on mine i felt his promise. I knew his promise. Once he leaned away, I instantly opened my eyes. Greeted again by his smile. He takes my hand and waited for me to take a step. I looked down and slowly took a step. Once we were inside, I instantly pointed out my mother. Michael's smile never faded as we approached her...
