Chapter 20

Emma's POV
I woke up to a bright light, and a beeping noise. WTF? Am I dead? I looked around, damnit, I was in a hospital. Ok, so I need to get a nurse. I pushed on the call button and a nurse came rushing in,

"Oh my, dear goodness! You're awake!" She gasped. What's wrong with her? "I'll go get the doctor dear," she walked out but turned around, "oh yeah my name is Nurse Ratchit (IDK how to spell it. But it's the creepy nurse in the asylum) ," with that she left. Okay, my everything hurts, but I'm clean. The doctor came in,

"Hello my name is Dr. Whale and I'm your doctor," hold up,

"As in like Victor Whale?" I'm so confused right now. He laughed,

"Victor is my younger brother," I nodded. He read me my injuries,

"Double concussion, 2 broken ribs, dislocated shoulder, major bruising along the chest, neck, and legs, heavy bleeding in the vaginal area," I sighed.

"Can I see my family and friends?" He nodded. Not even thirty seconds later, like sixteen people came in. It was Mom, Dad, Ruby, Belle, Elsa, Ashley, Sean, Victor, Will, Jefferson, August, Graham, Milah, two people I don't know, and Killian. Ruby was the first to hug me,

"Oh my god I missed you so much Ems!" I hugged her back,

"I missed you too," Belle and Elsa each grabbed one of my hands,

"We were worried sick about you," Belle said,

"I don't know what we would've done without you," Elsa said. Ashley and Sean came up to me. Ashley said,

"Good to have you back Emma," I smiled. Will was next,

"Now listen 'ere li'le miss, don't evuh scare us like that again. You had our boy here runnin around like a madman," I laughed and he ruffled my hair. Jeff and Vic were after him,

"It's great to see you again," Jeff said.

"I knew you were in good hands giving you to my brother," Vic said. Jeff wacked him on the head. August came. He hugged me so hard I thought I wasn't gonna be able to breathe,

"I thought I lost you little sis. I love you so much, you can't do that again," he sniffles and I wiped his tears. I gave him a peck on the cheek. After they said what they said, they had left the room one by one. All who were left was Mom, Dad, Milah, Graham, the two people I didn't know, and Killian.

"What are you two doing here," I said to Graham and Milah. Milah spoke up,

"I know Graham has been an ass-"

"Hey!" She slapped him,

"And I was a huge bitch. But we helped save you and wanted to say that we're both really sorry," Graham spoke up,

"I was a real jerk, and I had no idea what I was really doing. I'm truly sorry," I smiled.

"I forgive you guys," they nodded and left. Mom and Dad ran up to me,

"We love you so much Emma!" Mom said.

"You're my little girl and I will always protect you," Dad said. I cried a little,

"I love you guys too!" They cried a mixture of happy and sad tears. They pointed to the two people I didn't know, Dad answered my question,

"That's Kathryn from my story, and her husband Frederick," I nodded. Kathryn came up to me,

"I'm so glad they found you Emma, you are a beautiful young woman,"

"Thank you," she smiled and they headed out. Mom broke the silence,

"We'll leave you two alone," Dad was about to protest but Mom nudged him with her shoulder. They left and Killian and I were alone.

"Killian,"

"Swan," he walked up to me and touched my cheek. I flinched a little bit and he dropped his hand. We both had tears running down our faces,

"I'm so sorry Emma," he said. Sorry? Sorry? He thinks that's gonna fix everything!

"Sorry doesn't take back that he raped and abused me. That he brought back years of torment an pain!" I yelled. He was crying and so was I,

"It's my fault. If you hadn't left the window unlocked for me he wouldn't have taken you," I yelled at him,

"YOU PROMISED ME! YOU SAID YOU WOULD BE THERE WHEN I NEEDED YOU!" He kneeled and grabbed my hand,

"Please forgive me. I couldn't think straight without you. I was dying, I can't be without you Emma! I'm in love with you!" I shot straight up,

"No! Love brings pain! I can't do that! You've made me feel pain and sorrow before. If we had love it would multiply that by a million. I don't want love, I don't want you Killian," he shook his head and said,

"No! You're in love with me too! I can feel it. You don't get feelings this strong and passionate to be one-sided!" (Unless you're a fangirl/boy)

"Leave Killian,"

"No,"

"I SAID LEAVE KILLIAN!"

"AND I SAID NO!" My heart monitor was going up really fast and the nurses had to physically remove Killian from the room. I don't need love, I don't need Killian. I...Need....Don't.....Love...Killian...Love...Killian...

Killian's POV
I looked completely fucked up. And I was. I needed Emma. She was like oxygen to me. I couldn't live without her, I'm in love with her. I love her. Holy shit! I love Emma! I love Emma. David came up to me,

"Look, you both have been through a lot, give her some space,"

"I need her! I feel like I'm gonna die without her," he nodded sympathetically,

"I know. Just give her time," I sighed but left. I know what I have to do, I have to give up my bad boy ways. I'll still be Captain, I'll still be devilishly handsome Killian Jones, but I won't be a womanizer. I'll still be a smartass with teachers though, I can't give that up. I'm going to be nicer and not be a sex craved maniac. I'll still have my charm though. I think Mum and Liam would be proud of me. I'm going to get my Swan back, no matter what it takes.

Emma's POV
When I got home, (which was three days later) I sighed and sat on my bed. I locked my window and went downstairs. I had a few questions.

"Mom, Dad, can I talk to you guys?" Mom answered,

"Sure,"

"Is Walsh locked up?" Dad nodded,

"Yes, maximum security prison in Cuba. He has no way of contact with anybody since he escaped last time. He has a life sentence, no parole," I nodded and sighed. I was so relieved,

"And what about Regina?" They looked worried,

"Who told you about Regina?" Dad asked,

"Walsh told me," I said quietly, "Anyway what about her?" Mom sighed,

"She's still out there, but she can't hurt you. You're going to carry a taser, pepper spray, and a pocketknife with you at all times. We have a new security system on the house, an all the locks are high quality," I nodded and gave them hugs,

"I love you guys," they sighed,

"We love you too baby," I went upstairs and went to sleep. I'm going to be okay. I will learn to live without Killian. I don't love him. At least that's what I keep telling myself. I don't love him. I don't love him. I don't love him. I don't love him. I love him.

Just cuz Walsh is out of the way, don't think this is coming to an end. I have great ideas. After we get rid of Regina, I'm gonna have this pretty lighthearted.
