Killian's POV
Incoming call
I sighed and answered,

Robin: ello mate. How're you doing?

Killian: I'm fine. Out with it.

Robin: what do you mean?

Killian: you only call me when you want something.

Robin: you got me. Are you and Emma like a thing.

Killian: No. We actually decided on friends with benefits,

I said proudly.

Robin: if you're so sure, prove it.

Killian: what the hell do you mean prove it?

Robin: I mean hook up with another girl.

Killian: fine.

Call ended

What the hell Robin. I hope Emma will be okay. Wait, why do I care what Emma thinks. We're not together or anything. I know who I'm calling.

Phone Call

Killian: hey Milah.

Milah: hi Killian.

Killian: do you want to hang out?

Milah: ya. And maybe we can do some other stuff

Killian: definitely.

Milah: hey Regina I'm going over to Killian in like three hours.

Regina: perfect. I'll make sure to send Emma by there. And Milah, good work

Emma's POV
I woke up and got ready to go to the mall. I still had an hour though. I decided that today was the day, I'm gonna ask David and Mary-Margaret why they gave me up. I went downstairs and asked if I could speak with them. David looked a little worried. Mary just smiled and asked what I wanted to talk about.

"Why did you guys give me up?" I blurted out. Mary's face fell and David looked down. I cringed.

"Sorry, maybe I shouldn't have asked,"
Mary gently told me to come back,

"Emma you deserve to know," she looked at David and he nodded, "You have to understand we didn't want to give you up. We were forced to,"

"What do you mean forced?" David spoke up,

"When I was a young boy, I lived with my mother Ruth. When I was twelve she died. I found out I had a twin brother that was adopted by a man named George. His name was James. George adopted me and took me in, but they were cruel. I despised them, they were cold unloving people. One day James ran away with a girl named Jack and advised me to do the same. George was furious. George loved money and set an arranged marriage with a woman named Kathryn. Kathryn and I planned to follow our hearts, and we broke away from our families. I met Mary in high school and we got married at eighteen. George found out she was pregnant and threatened to kill you," David and Mary were crying. I had a few tears down my face too. "We had to give you your best chance," Mary grabbed my hands and I squeezed them. "George died about five months ago, and we decided to find you,"
