"So what should we do first?" Draco asked when we got to Hogsmeade.
It breakfast I explained the whole 'S.S' thing to Harry and Ron. Harry said he didn't get a letter, so he just stayed with Ariel. Ron and Hermione had already left before Draco and I did, so we decided to just spend the whole Hogsmeade day together.
"I don't know. Let's just explore." I said.
"What is with you and 'exploring' Draco asked putting an arm around my shoulder.
"Well, I am a Gryffindor," I said putting an arm around his waist.
"So modest," Draco said.
"I know right," I said smiling.
"It's called sarcasm," Draco said.
"Call it whatever you want to call it," I said smiling cheekily.
Draco rolled his eyes. "Why did I decide to befriend you again?"
"Because I'm a nice person?" I asked
"Lying to yourself isn't healthy, Potter." Draco laughed, causing my jaw to drop.
"I am a nice person, and you know it," I said.
"Whatever helps you sleep at hight." Scowled Draco with a laugh.
"OOH CANDY!" I exclaimed.
Standing in front of us was the biggest candy shop I had ever seen.
"Well someone is quite the candy lover," Draco said.
"Yes. Especially chocolate. It's EVERYTHING." I yelled. "I love, love, love, love, love chocolate. It's the only food I actually enjoy eating."
"The only food?" Asked Draco, raising an eyebrow. My face went bright red. "You really just exposed yourself." Said my conscience, and I cringed.
"Well, it's chocolate. I—er—like other foods too. Chocolate is just my favorite, I guess."
"Nice going fat ass." Said my conscience. "Very smooth."
Draco furrowed his eyebrows, but I didn't think that he thought much of it.
"Well, we're going there now," Draco said. "If you're going to get all worked up, then we might as well go in."
"DRACO YOU ARE THE BEST," I said, shaking off the comments that my brain was sending me.
"I know," Draco said walking into the store.
We got two of pretty much everything and stood in line to pay. When we were at the front, we put all of the candy on the counter.
"Three galleons please." The woman said.
"I'll pay," I said.
"No, I'll pay," Draco said.
"No it's okay, I'll pay," I said.
"No, I want to pay," Draco said.
"I'm paying," I said forcefully.
Without warning, Draco picked me up by my waist and carried me to the door. I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes as he paid the woman.
The woman said something to Draco making him blush. Draco said something walked towards the door holding a huge bag full of candy.
"Why couldn't I pay?" I asked.
"Because the man should always pay for a woman. It's polite." Draco said.
"I would have never guessed that you were a Slytherin," I said.
