A few hours later, I woke up to someone shaking me. "Maya, dinner starts in ten minutes." Said Hermione.

"I'm not going," I muttered and turned to my other side.

"Maya, according to Ryan, you haven't eaten anything all day." She sighed. "Not hungry," I muttered.

"Please." She begged. "I really don't want to." I sighed.

"Come on, you can't just stay in here forever." Hermione Said. "Everything is okay—"

"Everything clearly isn't okay, and if it was okay, then I probably wouldn't be in bed right now." I snapped. "Go away."

"The boys are really worried about you. About an hour after you went upstairs, Harry went upstairs with tears in his eyes. And I've never seen Harry cry. Dean and Seamus just managed to get him out because of dinner." Said Hermione. "Ron's been slumped against the couch for hours staring at the fire saying nothing, and Ryan, who I had invited into the Common Room, has been pacing and talking to himself for hours."

"They'll be fine," I Said.

"Maya, please. Laying in bed isn't going to do anything." She said.

"Yes, it will. Running away from my problems is one of the only things I'm good at." I mumbled into the pillow.

She gave me a look. "Fine." I sighed, sitting up.

"Thank you." She said, pulling me up, and pretty much dragging me down the stairs.

Ryan was pacing in front of the fire, rambling things to himself, and Harry and Ron were sitting in the chairs, just looking at the fire.

"I got her." Said Hermione. All of them snapped their heads towards me at the same time, causing me to flinch and step back a little.

"Maya—"

"I don't want to talk about it. Let's just go to dinner, okay?" I asked.

The boys nodded reluctantly, heading towards the door to the portrait.

We walked to the Great Hall in awkward silence, until a familiar, black-haired figure turned the corner.

"Hey, Maya?" Asked Blaise, as we passed him.

"Hm?" I Said.

"Meet with me after dinner. I just need to rant about a few things, and considering what happened today, I think you need to too." He said, giving me a small smile.

"I don't really know if I'm in the mood for it Blaise, but I'll definitely take up your offer. Thank you." I Said, smiling back. "If I'm up to it, I'll meet you outside of the Great Hall."

"Great. I'll see you later." He said and continued walking.

All of my friends looked at me as if I was bat-shit crazy.

"What?" I asked. "Is there something on my face?"

"Since when are you so buddy-buddy with Blaise Zabini?" Asked Ron.

"We've been friends for a while actually. He's my rant buddy. Whenever shit happens in our lives, Zabini and I rant to each other about it and give each other advice. Also, when Malfoy let his shit lumps beat me up, he carried me to the hospital wing."

"But Maya—Buckbeak—"

"He was just being an idiot. He kept the bandage on because the Quidditch captain said he would kick him off the team if he didn't. He's a really nice guy." I Said.
