DRACO'S POINT OF VIEW
Hermione and I sat down against the wall of the tower in somewhat comfortable silence. "So..." Said Hermione. "So..." I Said. "Are you planning on trying to..er—win her over?" Asked Hermione.
"I don't really know yet. I messed up really bad, and I don't really think I deserve to have her fancy me, you know?" I asked.
Hermione nodded. "That's understandable I guess."
"I just want her to trust me again. What I said at Hogsmeade was just—beyond cruel, and I really don't think after all of that, she'd ever like me. Besides, she tends to go after the worst type of men," I said. "They all seem so nice, but they are not afraid to just stab her in the back. I warned her about my cousin, and she didn't listen to me—and she ended up getting broken up with by a damn letter."
"She told you?" Asked Hermione. "No, Blaise did," I said.
"Oh," Said Hermione. "Well, you'll figure it out."
"Yeah, I hope so," I said. I stood up and looked over the edge of the tower. Macnair the executioner was walking away from the castle, with his ax in hand. "Hermione, look," I Said. She scrambled to her feet and looked over the edge. "He's probably going to fetch the dementors," Said Hermione.
"It's time to send up the flare?" I asked. She nodded, taking out her wand and pointing it up at the sky.
"Periculum!"
MAYA'S POINT OF VIEW
After we'd seen the flare, I untied Buckbeak's chain from the tree. I attempted to hoist myself onto Buckbeak, but with no prevail. "Do you need help with that Short Stack?" Teased Harry, raising an eyebrow.
"You know what, go away," I whined while laughing. "I'm not that short. I'm 5'2 and a half."
"And I'm 5'5. What is your point?" Asked Harry.
I rolled my eyes and laughed again. "Oh shut up and help me, you little butthole."
Harry grinned and gave me a leg up. Then he hopped in front of me and tied Buckbeak's chain to the other side of his collar like reins.
"Are you ready?" Asked Harry.
I put my arms around Harry's torso and rested my head on his shoulder. "As ready as I'll ever be," I sighed. Harry nudged Buckbeak's sides with the heels of his shoe, and Buckbeak took off flying.
"Woah!" I said, lurching backward and gripping Harry tighter.
"This is awful, I hate this," I said as we got higher and higher. "It's just like riding a broom," Said Harry.
"No, it is not, because my broom doesn't have a mind of its own!" I said.
Harry laughed as I buried my face into his shoulder, wanting it to end. It felt like I was going to fall off and die, which was the opposite reaction of what I felt when I was riding a broom. As we came closer and closer to the west tower, I began to count all of the windows, until I found the thirteenth one. I could see Sirius's silhouette through the window, and I grinned.
"There Harry!" I said. He steered Buckbeak to the window and reached over to knock on it. Sirius looked up from his spot on the floor, and his jaw dropped. He hopped up and tried to open the window, but it was locked.
"Stand back!" I yelled, digging my wand out of my boot. "Alohamora!" The window busted open.
"How—how—" Said Sirius, staring at Buckbeak. "Come on Sirius," I Said. "We don't have very much time."
