The Lost Potter || Draco Malfoy [BOOK 1]

Hi

Hey guys, there's something really important I want to talk about, and i want to use the "platform" that I have to try to make some sort of difference.

There was this 11th grade boy in my gym class. I had gym first period, and no matter what, this boy had a smile written all over his face. He was so unbelievably kind, and did not hesitate to make the entire class laugh whenever he could.

He would yell out random phrases and inside jokes whenever he could just to make other people feel happy, and constantly lit up the room with joy. He had so many friends and family that cared so much about him, and he seemed as if he was the happiest person in the school.

This boy committed suicide yesterday.

Yeah I know, I didn't expect it either.

The point that I'm trying to make is, you never know how people are feeling behind closed doors, so please, for the love of god, check up on your friends and be kind to others. Hold your friends and family close, tell them that you love them and that you care about them, because you never know when they might need it.

Mental health is so so so important, and I would never wish it upon my worst enemy to feel completely alone. If you ever feel like you're alone or need someone to talk to, do not ever hesitate to dm me, and we can talk as long as you need to.

People care about you. And it's fucking okay to ask for help, or ask for a hug from someone you trust, or fucking anything. It WILL get better, I fucking promise you. Leaving this earth isn't the only option. 

I couldn't possibly imagine the pain that his family and close friends are going through. It makes me feel worse just thinking about it. He was a seventeen year old boy, and it's awful that he felt that he didn't have enough to live for, even though he had so many things.

Brendan Cody, was loved by so many people. His passing had an such a hard impact on all of his peers, and it devastates me that he didn't understand that. It's heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking.
