31 December (New Years Eve)
Alex's POV
The year is almost over and I must admit it's been incredible. Falling in love.Beautiful dreams have come alive. Amazing surprises. Also some painful experiences, but all together it's ended up pretty amazing. It really does amaze me everyday that life has decided to be this good to me. Dreams have come true, giving life a new awakening. A burst of joy and unending love. Just so beautiful.
However today is New Years Eve. Around here the streets are quiet, but as we drove into town and back we noticed the cheer of the new year coming in. Luke is hosting a party at his apartment and he's asked me to help. He's also asked to me attend, but I happily declined. I don't think it will be safe for me, especially with this pregnancy. I'm definitely not taking any chances, and besides I'd rather be at home with my babies,bringing in the new year. As much as I would have loved to have Luke with me, I want him to live his life. I will not hold him back. I love him too much to do that, and I know he loves me as well. After all that we've been through I believe it's made us stronger. He's just so awesome, and I love everything about him. His tall beautiful body. His smile. His loving. And most of all the fact that he's added so much of colour to my life. He's my very own Irish prince.
Speaking of princes, it seems both my men are lazy his morning. They have not awakened as yet, and I've managed to clean up and do Laundry, and I'm almost done with breakfast. Well maybe I can enjoy a cup of tea, and bask in some sun and fresh air. I pour myself a cup of tea and go to the back just sitting there amongst the flowers, enjoying the quiet morning. It's so beautiful, even though it's nippy. I sit there alone for a while, until I get a visitor
"Good morning Mr O' Conmor." I smile up at him
" Good morning beautiful." He replies, sitting next to me draping the blanket over us. I move closer to him, and lean back on his chest
" What are you doing out here baby?" He kisses my neck
" I'm enjoying the beautiful,peaceful morning." I reply
" Why are you up so early though?"
" I couldn't sleep Luke, and why waste time sleeping, so I thought I'd clean up and make breakfast."
" Baby you need to take it easy. No pushing yourself."
" I'm aware Luke. I will."
" Anyhow, I'm going to get you some help. And no arguments Alexandra. I'm serious. I love you baby, and I'm not losing you or this baby." He lays his hand on m belly, just caressing.
"I love you Alexandra and I love this little one to and our big boy."He whispers
We sit there for a while, just enjoying the quiet, and I notice Luke's a bit quieter, not like his usual self.
" Baby are you okay?" I turn around facing him
" Yea. I'm okay." He looks away
"Okay come. Let's go have some breakfast. Josh should be awake by now." I get up and walk ahead of him, but he grabs a hold of my hand, and turns me around
I smile at him, and wrap my arms around his waist. He takes a hold of my face, and kisses me very strongly
" Alex I love you . Don't ever forget that okay. You stole my heart the moment I saw you up on that stage, and you always have it. You and Josh, and this baby are everything to me. Please don't forget that okay."
" Luke I know that."
" I know baby, I just need to tell you Alex. You have to feel it."
" Yes Mr O' Connor I do. Now come on. I think you need some food." I smile at him
