Feeling Blue- chapter 13

My alarm woke me from well, a nightmare I suppose. Joseph getting eaten by the evil teletubbies. It all happens to us! Not the teletubbie bit, but the dreams and sometimes nightmares that are random!

My alarm goes off with weird and wacky tune everyday. I used to think that if its a sad song it was a bad day and if it was a happy song then it would be good! Soon after I found out I put it on shuffle oh!

Would you say this was a happy song? Kickstart by example. I would reckon so.

Light was pearing in from the barbie pink blind in my room. I stretched and slapped my hand onto the the annoying alarm clock to make it shut up. I stumbled out of bed to open the blind. My eyes were glued together due to sleep dust! I lean over my desk to pull up my blind. Light was breaking free behide the blind as I relished the blind up. The musty sun shown over the other closed in buildings. Today is another day, another life to full!

The light fulled my room as it was a fresh day. I waddled to my wardrobe and got my school uniform out. I wss looking high and low for my tie so, I nicked Leo's. He only a english exam paper today and the last one of the year for him. He is in year 11 and so be leaving soon. I think he rather looking forward to the prom and dancing the night away with Lucy. I get ready and in my mirror inside the door of my wardrobe, I tie my hair up into a messy, high bun. Thick bits of my brown, curly hair appear at the sides of my face. I look at myself once more and close the wardrobe door. I head downstairs in a ordinary fashion. I turned into kichten and I see Dad looking at his paper. You could not see his face. Marina was putting the pack lunches together, while Joseph was throwing his food across the table and it hits the back of Dad's paper. I'm surprised he hasn't noticed it! Leo was like a kangaroo, searching high and low for his lost shoe. 'Ah Clara, you look nice today!' She said in a sweet and very confident voice. 'While thank you Marina anyway, I always look like this for school.' She gives Leo and I our pack lunches.

'Ah what? No clara, I mean your hair. It looks so nice when you put it up!' She smiles.

'Oh, yeah thanks Marina and thanks for making the packed lunches.'

'FOUND IT!' Leo shouted from under the table. I pass him his lunch as he got to his feet. Leo dashes out to look for other stuff for school. That boy is so unorganised!

I sat next to Joseph and I took the spoon he was springing at Dad. I fed him the last bit of his food and Marina dropped two slices of neatly buttered toast. 'Good Morning Dad.' I shouted across the table. He did answer me. Marina just starred at him.

When I was washed and ready, Leo and I walked out the door. Leo went on his phone texting while he was waiting for our next door neighbour Carter. I just walked ahead because I am not keen on Carter. Carter is in Leo's their schools and they walk in together and play a game of football with the other lads in the year. Leo hangs around with Lucy and his other mate Tom. Carter goes to the other secondary school in the city. Carter is gay but is truly awesome.

When I get to school, I drag my feet up the stairs to tutor. I opened the double doors and my tutor group were acting like normal, chucking paper planes around,drawing on the borad and chucking all the art equiment at each other.

I just went through the hashle to get to my chair. The bell rang for mrs Nightdrome to come up to tutor and take the regisister. Everyone ingores the bell anyway till miss comes up. Then, Jess comes in with a stack of books from the library. She sat next to me and tried to squeeze them all in her tidy rucksack. I just cheek facebook quickly and the updated news feed on my phone. Nothing new. Then, when I look up I see Dan sitting on my desk. 'Hello Clara,' he said in a souving voice. He moves his long fringe out from in front of his sapphire eyes. 'Happy birthday for yesterday!' He had a gentle smiled that lasted for a minute or so. 'What do you want?' I ask him.

'All right, all right Clara I only said hi!' Jess gave me a visual glare and so did Dan. 'Well, say what your going to say and go away.' I said while looking behide, to say im not bothered. 'Ok I will make it short and sweet. I do not love Skye. Skye was showing me how to kiss. I've never kissed before. I was going to kiss you for your birthday. So Skye showed me. She already got Tyler as a boyfriend in the other tutor group.' Jess folded her arms and gave me a sharp stare. 'I don't believe you!' I shouted at him. 'What gave you that idea I was with her?' He pulled a chair and sat next to me. 'Well, you kissed her and ah yes the fight.' I nearly forgot the fight between Skye and I. 'What fight?' Is he some sort of idiot.

'The one yesterday with Skye and I and Mrs Nightdrome sent us to Mr Hammond. ' Dan lifts a eyebrow.

'Oh that I thought you were fighting over a game or makeup not me!' I gave him an immediate stare. 'So, your not with her?' I asked feeling guilty. 'No I'm not, I'm with you aren't I?' Well, this is embarrassing, I'm a very bad lier. 'Your with someone, I knew it!'

'Huh? What? No.' How did he know? I was trying to link it all up in my head. 'Your with that Josh new guy aren't you?' Jess gave me a evil glare. I could just say he is my step brother when he is. 'What? No!' Then at that moment Mrs Nightdrome walked in with a cup if mint tea. This was going to be a long day.

It was fourth period and I was in english. We are doing Shakespeare, it really hard to pronounce this words. In our speaking and listening assessment we are doing Romeo and Jullet. We started before half term so everyone is brian~washed and couldn't remember. I was working with Jess and Skye. Jess was Romeo and Skye was Jullet. We were doing seanes in the play and saying what was the purpose and meaning of it, that was my job to explain to the class. Then a note from the student officer gave a note to my teacher, Mrs Tram and she handed it to me while the other groups were performing their stuff about Shakespeare. I opened the letter and it said:

'Clara Andrews 9ND7

Come to main office immediately your dad is waiting for you. Leo has had a accident after his exam and you need to go to the hospital.

Ms Leamington'

I picked up my stuff and ran down the stairs to the main office. Dad was standing in his leather jacket holding Joseph. 'Come quickly Clara! Marina is already at the hospital as she was working today so I had Joseph. We better hurry.' We both walked out the school into the car park and got into the car. Marina is a nurse if you did not know. We needed to see Leo before it's too late!
