"Mind if I meet Jenna?" Aria paled, shaking her head.

"Yes, I mind. But anyways, she just never has time to make friends or meet anyone, yknow?" I slightly frowned, nodding as we walked down the street and to our houses. Josh lived on the block before ours, so we walked him home.

"Do I'll you think I'll ever meet her?" She shrugged, making her way behind the houses.

"Hey," I looked at her, "let's go back real quick, I left something..." She trailed off, turning around. I absentmindedly nodded, following behind her.

"Do you go to our school?" She bit her lip and crossed her arms, nodding.

"Starting the year in August, yeah. You?"

"The upcoming year is my last". We walked silently, crouching under fallen tree trunks and jumping over rocks.

"So, you and Josh, huh?" I glanced over just to see her already staring at me.

"It was just once,"

"It still happened!" She laughed, throwing her head back and wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "But seriously. Giving him a hickie? I mean, shit, maybe if he didn't have a grudge against me for something you did?" She quietly muttered.

"So you would have given him one?" I asked, focusing on the rubber band on my wrist with a smirk on my face.

"Hell yeah, he's fucking sexy, dude!" I shook my head, stopping to look up at the old trampoline under the tree house. I grabbed Aria's hand, dragging her behind me before wrapping my hands around her waist and throwing her onto the trampoline.

"Tyler!" She cried out as her body bounced, making me laugh while I crawled to her.

"Yes?" She glared at me, her hair a mess as she shoved me.

"I fucking hate you," she tried to pull an angry face but instead cracked a smile, laughing as she lied down on her back. I copied her position, staring up into the dark, maroon sky.

"So what about you?" She propped herself up onto her elbow, scrunching her eyebrows as she stared at me.

"What about me?" I turned my head back up to the sky, closing my eyes and slightly bouncing as she shifted around until her head was on my shoulder, my arm cradling her.

"Would you say he's boyfriend material?" She lay still, my mind drifting as my eyelids drooped.

"More than that," I chuckled.

"He worth fighting for?" I slightly nodded, turning so our bodies faced each other's.

"Yeah," I whispered, closing my eyes as she nuzzled her face into my neck.
