//Tyler//

"Tired of me getting in the way of your relationships? Tyler, what on earth are you talking about? I've never gotten between you and your relationships." I sighed, dropping his hands.

"Yes, you do, Josh. Remember Ashley?" He blankly stared at me, slowly shaking his head.

"My sis-"

"Frangipane." His eyes narrowed as he leant in, nearing my face.

"She was a devil worshipper, Tyler."

"No she wasn't! She was almost my girlfriend, had you not threatened her!"

"What, so now I'm the bad guy for protecting you from a devil worshipper?" He scoffed, staring at me like I had grown a second head.

"Where the hell did you even get that from? I knew her better than you did, and I know for a fact that she didn't worship the devil, for God's sake Josh!" His nostrils flared as he abruptly stood up, fists clenched.

"How could you not have heard everyone talking–"

"People talk, Josh! They didn't like her cause she managed to get the guys that girls have been working hard to get since middle school, and you were just like them! Everyone was out to get her and you let that feed your need to separate us. I actually liked her, Josh! I..." I shook my head, tugging at my hair as Melanie stared at me with sympathy, receiving a reaction she most likely wasn't expecting.

"I genuinely loved her, Josh, and you took that away from me. She's gone because of you. And now that I've got Aria, I want to stay as far away from you as possible, okay? I don't want you ruining this for me again. I'm sick and tired of you choosing who I can and can't be friends with. I'm done, Josh. You can still take care of me, but you aren't allowed to choose who I can and can't hang out with anymore. You're done there, got it?"

I stared at his broken face, my heart tearing at the seams as he nodded, turning away from me.

"Okay." He simply responded, voice barely above a whisper. Melanie reached out to grab my shoulder, but I shook my head, turning away from the two and walking out of her room.

"Tyler–" I slammed the front door, irritated.

"Honesty hurts, don't ya think?"
